Frances Bean Cobain's house intruder drama was like a telenovela
Frances Bean Cobain has compared her dramatic personal life to a telenovela after disturbing an intruder in her home.
The only child of the late Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love was home alone in the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday morning (30Mar16) when she heard a noise downstairs. She went to investigate and discovered a man running out of her front door.
Nothing was stolen but she reported the trespasser to police, who
are currently investigating the incident.
They have yet to name any suspects, according to TMZ.com.
The 23-year-old took to Twitter hours after the news broke online
on Friday (01Apr16) and hinted at the personal drama, although she
didn't comment directly on the intruder.
"My life mirrors being a bad Spanish soap opera sometimes," she
quipped.
It's not the only drama in Cobain's life. Last month (Mar16), the
rock offspring, whose famous father committed suicide two years
after her birth, reportedly filed for divorce from her musician
husband Isaiah Silva after less than six months of marriage. The
former couple dated for almost five years before tying the knot in
secret in September (15), but Frances is now facing the prospect of
paying her estranged husband spousal support.
The fortune left by her dad's estate is said to be valued at $450
million , but she has made it clear in her court papers the late
Nirvana rocker's riches are completely off limits.
Cobain also recently reconciled with her estranged mom after years
of estrangement, amid accusations the Hole frontwoman was an unfit
mother as she battled substance abuse.
They made a rare public appearance together in March (16) when they
attended London's Liberatum event, celebrating Women In Creativity,
at St. Martin's Lane. Love was interviewed as the guest of
honor.
