Drew Barrymore splits from third husband - report
Drew Barrymore and her husband have split after almost four years of marriage.
Multiple reports suggest the actress and Will Kopelman have separated and plan to divorce later this year (16).
"They've been having some difficulties, but they remain close for
the sake of their kids," one source told the New York Post's Page
Six.
The couple started dating in February, 2011, and exchanged vows at
Drew's Montecito, California, estate in June, 2012. They are
parents of two daughters, Olive, three, Frankie, 23 months.
The Charlie's Angels star opened up about her marriage in November
(15), telling Us Weekly magazine compromise was a big part of a
successful union.
"My husband and I compromise on a lot of things...," the
41-year-old said. "It's the little things that you can change that
can make a relationship stronger. Compromise is about changing
yourself for the better. It's an opportunity for you to become a
more functional, better person."
This is Barrymore's third failed marriage - she was wed to bar
owner Jeremy Thomas for just weeks in 1994, and she tied the knot
with comedian Tom Green in July, 2001. He filed for divorce that
December (01) and their split was finalized in October, 2002.
Representatives for the couple have yet to confirm or deny the
split reports, which come a day after the actress posted a photo of
a new tattoo on Instagram. The ink on her on her right wrist
features her daughters' names.
She captioned the photo: "Getting a great little lifetime note on
my arm."
