Emma Stone bakes to cope with anxiety
Actress Emma Stone turned to baking during the making of new movie The Amazing Spider-Man to cope with her anxiety.
The Help star, who has suffered terrifying panic attacks since she was a young girl, recently admitted she relied on a stunt double to re-enact Jennifer Grey's iconic Dirty Dancing leap when her fear of heights got the best of her while shooting 2011 movie Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Now Stone reveals she developed a passion for making cakes and
cookies while shooting her new superhero blockbuster because
spending time in the kitchen helped her relax.
She tells Vogue magazine, "I think I felt really out of control of
my surroundings. I was just baking all the time. There were stacks
of things in the kitchen that nobody could possibly go through. It
seemed like it made me feel, if I put these in, I'll know what the
outcome is... I was over-baking."
