Elizabeth Olsen wants to work with Tom Hiddleston again
Actress Elizabeth Olsen is eager to continue working with her I Saw The Light co-star Tom Hiddleston.
The 27-year-old previously joined the cast of the Avengers franchise for 2015's Age of Ultron, but she and Tom, who portrays Thor's trouble-making brother Loki, did not share any scenes together.
That all changed when they signed on for the new Hank Williams
biopic, in which Tom stars as the late country icon and Elizabeth
plays his wife, manager and duet partner, Audrey Sheppard
Williams.
They worked so well together, Elizabeth is keen to keep their
onscreen relationship going in future projects.
"I would love to work with him again," she gushed to Entertainment
Tonight. "He's such an incredible person. Anyone who's worked with
him knows how disciplined and rigorous he is, and kind and
respectful."
However, Elizabeth is adamant their movie chemistry hasn't spilled
over into real life, after they sparked romance rumours last year
(15), when they met up for a lunch date in Tom's native
England.
"(The reports are) a bunch of strangers saying a bunch of stuff
that they don't know about," she insisted, echoing statements she
had previously made to Refinery29.com.
She told the publication in September (15), "People can think what
they want to think. I mean, we definitely are friends and we've
known each other for about four years. And we happened to be at a
restaurant at a wrong time having dinner. We all go out to
dinner."
Meanwhile, Elizabeth claims working with Tom and director Marc
Abraham on I Saw the Light was the "most creative environment I've
ever been in".
"With that kind of safety you're allowed to have intimacy," she
continued. "You're able to listen to someone and be present within
a film together."
