Demi Lovato injures ankle on Independence Day

Demi Lovato spent Independence Day (04Jul14) nursing a swollen ankle after she injured herself while exercising.

The Heart Attack hitmaker was housebound on Friday after she twisted her ankle while running.

Lovato posted an image of her feet, showing one ankle looking considerably larger than the other, and added, "Umm soooo (sic).. I guess when I went running and twisted my ankle I actually did hurt myself... AGAIN. Hahaha."

The singer, who ended up in a leg cast after slipping on a newly polished floor last year (13), assured fans it is just a minor injury this time around, adding, "Didn't even notice until now so it's not THAT bad but... I thought you'd be amused... I really should just get new ankles!!"
