Danica McKellar recovering after Dancing with the Stars injury
Actress and author Danica Mckellar is undergoing laser therapy and electric bone stimulation in a bid to recover from her gruelling stint on reality show Dancing With The Stars.
The former The Wonder Years star spent 10 days dancing with a broken rib after sustaining an injury during rehearsals last month (Apr14), and she became the latest contestant voted off the show on Monday night (05May14), after her tango with professional Val Chmerkovskiy failed to win over show judges and viewers.
But the 39 year old is secretly relieved she can now focus on
recovering from her injury.
She tells Good Morning America, "They're (ribs) sore, but they're
getting better. I'm doing... laser therapy, electric bone
stimulation therapy, homeopathic (treatment), Chinese herbs. I'm
throwing everything at it and it's working, something in there is
working."
She isn't the only star to sustain an injury on the current season
of the show - Star Wars actor Billy Dee Williams was forced to pull
out of the ballroom contest due to a chronic back problem.
