Cops called to Rihanna's vacation villa after intruder alert

Police were called to pop star Rihanna's vacation home after a man was spotted trespassing in the grounds of the property on Sunday (23Dec12).

The Umbrella hitmaker had returned to her native Barbados for Christmas vacation and was out with friends when the unknown man allegedly attempted to make his way inside the house.

Police received a phone call from a member of Rihanna's staff after the man, believed to be a German national, wandered onto the private beach front residence wearing nothing but a pair of swimming trunks.

However, by the time cops arrived on scene, the man had already left and at no time was the singer in any danger.

The trespasser is not considered to be a stalker, but local police are currently investigating the situation and wish to speak to the man, according to TMZ.com.
