Kelly Clarkson sings at children's hospital
Kelly Clarkson brought some Christmas cheer to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday (21Dec12) by singing for a group of sick children.
The Since U Been Gone hitmaker dropped by the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital to lead the kids in a sing-along as part of a visit organized by the Musicians On Call Nashville program, which brings music to the bedsides of hospital patients.
The singer performed a special acoustic set for the patients, their
families and staff inside the Children's Hospital Theater before
leading the children in a sing-along to festive classics Rudolph
the Red Nose Reindeer and White Christmas.
Following her performance, Clarkson visited the rooms of the
patients who were unable to attend and said, "This is such a
special time of year and I'm so happy to spend it with all of these
great kids. I'm probably having just as much, if not more, fun than
they are."
Clarkson joins fellow artists such as Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton
and Martina McBride in supporting Musicians On Call Nashville.
