Chloe Grace Moretz's brothers won over by Brooklyn Beckham

Chloe Grace Moretz's older brothers were "super protective" upon first meeting her boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham.

Earlier this month (May16) Chloe, 19, confirmed she was dating the son of soccer legend David Beckham and his wife, pop star turned fashion mogul Victoria.

However before Brooklyn, 17, could safely date the Carrie star he had to win over her four older brothers, Trevor, Colin, Ethan and Brandon.

"They are, they're super protective but I kind of like it," she told late night host James Corden. "You know kind of like when a guy shows up at the door and then I have like four very macho men be like, 'Hey, what are you doing?' They're pretty like, 'Don't mess with my sister'."

The teenage star explains that her elder siblings were initially sceptical about her new beau, saying, "At the start they were kind of like, 'What's he want? What's he looking for? I'm like, 'Guys, guys, guys, I'm the older woman it's OK here, I'm in control'."

Now though she says that Brooklyn is so friendly with the Moretz boys he often cuts her out of conversations by texting them behind her back.

"Now they just correspond secretively, like we were all at dinner the other night and I caught my boyfriend texting my brother and I was like, 'What are you doing here, why are you guys corresponding?'" she said, adding, "No, they like him, so they're nice to him. Now."

Chloe only recently decided to go public with her and the aspiring photographer's relationship, posting a snap of them together on Instagram.

She also spoke about her and Brooklyn's relationship and his famous parents on TV show Watch What Happens Live!

"I think the more I don't make it mysterious the more people don't care, so yes we're in a relationship," she told host Andy Cohen, and said of David and Victoria, "He's a great dad, she's a great mother. They genuinely are very good parents that's what matters most, they made a pretty son."

Brooklyn is yet to speak out about the romance but did on Wednesday (11May16) post a romantic picture of himself together with his new girlfriend using pictures which appeared to have been taken from magazines. The two snaps were surrounded by love hearts.
