Charlie Sheen's wedding tweet was just a joke

Charlie Sheen fooled fans into thinking he'd wed porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi over the weekend (04-05Jan14) by posting a cryptic message on Twitter.com.

The actor posted a photo of himself posing with Rossi on the steps of the French consulate in Reykjavik, Iceland, where they have been vacationing, and accompanied it with a little wedding news.

He wrote, "This is the house ware (sic) M Gorbachev R Reagan did some epic (sic). It's also where S and I GOT MARRIED!

The consulate is the site of the Cold War Summit that took place between the leaders of Russia and America in 1986.

Sheen's representative declined to comment on the wedding news when contacted by WENN on Sunday, but has since dismissed the story, claiming the actor was "kidding around".

Rossi, 24, also took to her Twitter account on Sunday night to laugh off the wedding story, writing, "hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha epic."

Sheen has been married and divorced three times. He divorced his third wife Brooke Mueller in 2011.

He has since told TMZ.com he posted the tweet "to give (ex-wife) Denise (Richards) a stroke".
