Shakira's new collaboration with Rihanna is to be rush released next week (13Jan14), just a month after news of the duet first surfaced.
Rihanna confirmed the get together in a tweet on Monday (06Jan14), revealing fans only have to wait a week to hear the track.
She writes, "@shakira - Can't Remember To Forget (feat. @rihanna )
ACTUALLY I just found out you'll have it by the 13th! #1week."
News of the collaboration leaked in early December (13), when
rapper Pitbull revealed he had initially wanted to recruit the
Umbrella hitmaker for his hit song Timber, but she was too busy in
the studio with the Latin singer, so he decided to team up with
Ke$ha for the track instead.
The Rihanna/Shakira collaboration is expected to feature on the new
mum's next album, the follow up to 2010's Sale el Sol.
