Adrienne Bailon made up fake boyfriend to get rid of Rob Kardashian
Adrienne Bailon pretended to have a boyfriend in a bid to get her ex, Rob Kardashian, off her back following their split in 2009.
The former Cheetah Girls star dated Kim Kardashian's brother for two years, and fans of the family's reality TV show watched the pair's romance fall apart after he admitted to cheating on Adrienne Bailon.
The star refused to give her beau another chance, and revealed
during a segment on her new chat show The Real on Tuesday (30Jul13)
that she created a fake new lover to stop Kardashian from
contacting her after their messy break-up.
And she came clean with the truth that the stay-away letter her ex
read aloud on his family reality show was actually written by
her.
She says, "I was my own fake boyfriend. What all ya'll thought was
that it was written by my boyfriend. It was not written by a
boyfriend. That was written by me and my girl sitting on the sofa
one day deciding to ourselves, 'Well, how can we make him stop
calling me?' I got left alone. I think it worked!
"I was embarrassed (about the cheating) and basically said, 'I want
nothing to do with you'."
