Adele voted top gay icon

Adele can boast yet another new accolade after she was named Pop Artist of the Year by listeners of a gay radio station in Britain.
The Rolling In The Deep hitmaker was crowned a gay icon after winning 55 per cent of the votes in the poll, which was carried out by Gaydar Radio.
She usurped last year's (11) winner Kylie Minogue to take the
award, with Lady Gaga coming second.
Gaydar's programme controller Robin Crowley says, "Adele has
numerous Grammys and Brits, but this is the accolade she's been
waiting for."
Former Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas was named Celebrity of the
year, with gay soccer player Anton Hysen voted as Hero of the
Year.
