About this video

Avan Jogia

I mean he did actually catch a horned viper and he put it in a bottle, and then he took it out of the bottle and kissed it on the head. He was doing this guy I didn't realize, because I don't dye my hair often, that it just I I had straw now for hair instead of normal hair. I understand. Like I had a scarecrow hair.

Young Hollywood

Welcome to the studio.

Avan Jogia

Hello. Finally. Yes, we we're in. We're here.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, we have a whole new screen. It's great.

Avan Jogia

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out.

Young Hollywood

Debut it with you. Yeah, thank you for pointing that out. Cool, this is my name.

Avan Jogia

Your name. Your name. It's my name. It's me right there. Oh my God. Oh my God.

Young Hollywood

Is this a kind of like a shiny new tour? Oh, this now let's let's be honest. This is like six TVs put together as one.

Avan Jogia

It's whatever you want it to be. It's whatever you want it to be.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, what would you like it to be? The Young Hollywood screen. Would you like it to be the ADD version of I I actually am having trouble not looking at it. That's how beautiful it is. You look amazing. Can I say just say

Avan Jogia

Thank you very much.

Young Hollywood

This is this is kind of a different the cutting the hair Can you still do a man bun by the way with your hair?

Avan Jogia

Yeah. Yes, I can.

Young Hollywood

Because you are known for the man bun. This was it was a concern of some some folks over there on the internet. But I can also

Avan Jogia

I can do a man bun. I can do a man bun. And myself.

Young Hollywood

Because I do enjoy your hair. I have I still do this. I got the guy here. I can do it whenever I want. Right. So did you go to the salon and be like, "Girls, I I still want to be able to put it in a pony. It can't be that short if I'm bumming my hair."

Avan Jogia

I just kind of was like it was going down to my chest, and I had dyed it for the for this this movie I did with James Franco called I Am Michael. I dyed it blonde and then put green into it. And I didn't realize because I don't dye my hair often that it just I I had straw now for hair instead of normal hair. I understand. Like a I had a scarecrow hair. Girls understand. And it was blonde, and it was dry. And I didn't know that there's all these masks that you can get for your hair. Did you know this? Masks.

Young Hollywood

You don't even know who you're talking to right now. But masks hair seems counterintuitive because to me We could talk about mask for like an hour. A mask for would be for a face one would wear on a face. I'm not on your hair.

Avan Jogia

Oh no. Oh no. So rather than doing all these masks on my hair, I cut it all off.

Young Hollywood

Speaking of masks. Yeah. King Tut.

Avan Jogia

King Tut. The mask. Wow. That is that was a great transition. I was in Africa. We shot it in Africa in Morocco. It was it stars uh Sir Ben Kingsley.

Young Hollywood

Never heard of him.

Avan Jogia

And yeah.

Young Hollywood

Never heard of James Franco either by the way. You know, I don't know. You're working with such schlub. How can you deal? Your career is really going down hill. What's happening?

Avan Jogia

Now we have panic. The people have been made fearful and desperate. They need a savior. They crave a hero. And they will worship the man who can bring them to victory, a man who would then have cause to march to the ends of the earth. I serve only the greater good of Egypt. No, General, you serve me.

Young Hollywood

The Pharaoh has really had the fashion thing going on because that kind of style is still happening. They they were kind of fabulous folk over there the Egyptians. They weren't scared of a little uh little makeup. Yeah. Fashion forward, they a lot of gold accessories. I mean like

Avan Jogia

Love it. The outfits that I had for this thing, the wardrobe is just amazing. All handmade. I mean this is the ring actually. It's like very Kanye almost. This is a ring uh This is a ring.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, you can give this to me. You're not getting it back by the way because I love it.

Avan Jogia

I know that's a ring they made that. This man in Morocco hand makes all the jewelry for the show. That's that was for Tut, and I stole it.

Young Hollywood

Wow. You can keep it.

Avan Jogia

I stole this ring. Yeah. Don't tell anyone that.

Young Hollywood

I won't. If you were king for a day, in real life, What would you do?

Avan Jogia

I'd just hang out, you know.

Young Hollywood

But you gotta you gotta change the world in some way. No pressure, but.

Avan Jogia

I'm the what am I the king of? Am I a king of the the world?

Young Hollywood

The world. James Cameron.

Avan Jogia

If I was king of the world, I'd I'd stop a lot of like atrocities that are happening.

Young Hollywood

Of course you would.

Avan Jogia

I'd do some stuff. But you don't want to hear all that boring stuff.

Young Hollywood

No, I do. No, I want to hear something fun, something indulgent.

Avan Jogia

I'll just I'll just sit there, play video games, you know.

Young Hollywood

Really?

Avan Jogia

Play guitar. I mean that's what I do anyway. Yeah. So I don't know.

Young Hollywood

Gotta do something crazy. Fly around the world or

Avan Jogia

Fly around the world, yeah, sure. Be free.

Young Hollywood

Would you wear a crown? I mean James

Avan Jogia

I feel free right now. Be free. I mean.

Young Hollywood

Great point. Great point. I want to know one thing about King Tut, Right. Because we all hear about it. Like a a great fact that you learned in sort of researching and like was he because he died when he was 19, right?

Avan Jogia

Yeah, possibly epileptic. Wow. Which is an interesting thing. But he rode chariots, he was a very active person. He had like lots of canes like like hundreds and hundreds of canes he was buried with. So even despite his handicaps, he was able to, you know, do stuff. And that will is what I wanted, like okay that's gonna be like the lifeblood of doing Tut for for this this things is like his will to to live.

Young Hollywood

And what was the black King Cobra thing I saw on your Instagram?

Avan Jogia

There's lots of snakes on set. There was we had horned vipers and like there No fear. But I feel like the snake guy, to be perfectly honest, we had a snake rangler on set. He had a job, he got paid. What a I would be the worst job in the world. But moonlights as a snake charmer, so I'm feeling like he's getting the snakes, bringing them to set, releasing them, catching them again, and being like, "Look at him. Valerie, my job." Look at this. No, no. King Cobras, yeah.

Young Hollywood

So you're calling him out.

Avan Jogia

I'm calling him out.

Young Hollywood

You're calling out your phony snake charmer. Because he caught 12 King Cobras in one day. And I don't feel like there was 12 King Cobras. There's no way. There's no way.

Avan Jogia

I mean he did actually catch a horned viper and he put it in a bottle, and then he took it out of the bottle and kissed it on the head. He was doing this guy he was risking his life for no reason. Never done any

Young Hollywood

Wait, speaking of animals, what was it the thing about on your Instagram, your latest post, about 31 days later you're a dog, your dog.

Avan Jogia

Oh my God. Yeah, we had a we have a dog. My dog Duke la like uh got lost. 31 days later he shows up at a neighbor's house. This is a small dog. And there's coyotes in in the hills in L. A. , there's all kinds of stuff in L. A. , and 31 days. And I I have a newfound respect for this little guy. He was always the shy one, always like kind of like I don't know.

Young Hollywood

What was that moment like when you got the call from the neighbor or they came over or whatever?

Avan Jogia

It was unfortunately on April Fools. So we thought that the person was playing an unbelievably tasteless April Fools joke. Hey, your dead you know your dog is probably dead for sure. Here. He's he's back now. Ha ha. Gotcha. It's like

Young Hollywood

Mean.

Avan Jogia

But it was it turned out to be true, so.

Young Hollywood

Wow. Congratulations on all your success and do you wanna take us out with a jingle? I'm just gonna YH has a new screen and who better to debut that with? Miners, it's very it's like a stormy night.

Avan Jogia

Than you. The dog whisperer. The dog whisperer. You're not the snake charmer. The dog charmer. I don't know what that meant. We'll end it on that note. Cool. You did it.
