What's going on guys? Hanging with me right now. I have Ross and Rocky Lynch. How are you guys doing?
Good.
Good.
How are you feeling?
Pretty fantastic. Yeah. Yeah. Just. Yeah. You guys are comfy. It's really great. Yeah. I see you guys have changed up the hair.
He had to dye it for he had to for the Sabrina show. The Netflix show. Yeah.
Yes. We need to congratulate you Ross for sure.
Thank you. Thank you. Yeah.
So it's supposed to be really dark, right?
It's definitely different to to what Sabrina has been in the past on TV. The newest comic book that was created by our creator Roberto um is more of the vibe that the Netflix show is gonna be.
Well congratulations.
Thank you. Thank you. I'm excited about it.
You're welcome Rocky. Well anyways, more congratulations are in store because you guys are now The Driver Era. Right?
Yeah. Yeah. We've never gotten um this great of a reaction from a song. And it's only one song.
Yeah, it's one song, one video, it's been out for a week and it's it's just been it's been tremendous.
Well for people watching, their song Preacher Man also has a music video and I just have to say you guys look good. Like you guys look really good in that video. It's it's a hot video for sure.
Thanks.
Yeah. Gets a little steamy there, doesn't it?
I I got a couple I got a text message from someone that was like, hey, I love the video but where was your bathtub scene?
Does it? Oh, there's a bathtub scene. We should've put you in the bathtub.
I mean like Ross was in the bathtub and I was like, Friday though. You can also switch.
For a second at least.
Well just do another another edit. Okay. Well I saw there's bits of you in there Rocky.
Oh no yeah, yeah. You guys are both kissing girls. Yeah. In it. Yeah.
There's like there's like a little bit of a flash of you. Yeah. It's like it's fast but.
It's quick.
I saw, yeah. Did you guys do anything specific to like prep for those scenes?
Yeah, lots of lipstick, good tasting um mints or whatnot in your mouth.
Make sense.
It's always a good thing to do. Some gum. Also, if you're gonna take a shirt off, you know, maybe put some deodorant on.
Oh, that's necessary.
Honestly, the main thing is you just want to smell good. Yeah. That's like the main thing. But other than that, the music video was just like really fun. Like we just hung out all night. I literally just hung out.
Nice scene.
Yeah. New director that we were working with, really excited about working with him because he had a really really cool um way of kind of like implementing the vision and making it like come to fruition in a really good way.
So take me back to the beginning though. So the name The Driver Era, I'm sure you guys are gonna get this question a million times, but how did you guys come up with that one?
This transition's kinda been in the works for like maybe a year or two, you know what I'm saying? We just didn't really know the exact idea or way to go about it. And the name basically, the name is just about the future, it's about the past, it's about now. It's just kinda about the present too.
Is it yeah, it's it's you said it great earlier you were like saying how it just kinda puts you right here. Like right now. I really I'm really fond of the name actually. Yeah. I think it's cool. Yeah. I don't hate it yet.
Yeah. It's much better than the last one we had. I promise you.
So in my research Ross, you've said that you like a good adrenaline rush. Yeah. Right? So Rocky, are you the same?
We enjoy majority of the same exact things. I would say. Yeah. Like you know if he likes a movie, I like the movie. If he likes a certain sport, I usually like that sport. We kinda are like each other's like other halves in a way. Oh. And so now that he's been gone like I find myself like hanging out with like random like other people that I normally wouldn't hang out with. But it's simply because like if we're in the studio and we go grab lunch real quick. Now it's like, oh, I'm in the studio and he's in Vancouver so it's like, I'm going to grab lunch with uh just someone else, you know. It's kinda it's kinda interesting.
You guys are so cute. I love that.
We I mean, it just by nature like spend a lot of time together. Yeah. Yeah, writing songs and stuff.
So what's something that you guys would wanna do together like adrenaline wise? Like what's on your bucket list?
Oh, skydiving for sure. I've been trying to do it for the last since I was 18. I've been trying to do it too. Just haven't. It's been four years.
Yeah, it's we're gonna be like 30, we're gonna be like, yo, we still gotta go skydiving. It's really hard to find time to do stuff when you're because like we're really passionate about obviously music and what we do and and it's hard to find time outside of that because to get to the level that we wanna get to, you gotta spend all your time to just in the studio or on set or whatever.
Yeah. You definitely have to be dedicated for sure.
Yeah. But our dad's a really big skydiver. He's done like thousands of jumps.
Oh, that's so awesome.
So that's like encouraging for us to to do it as well. I think that's where we get the adrenaline thing from.
Well, I've always wanted to skydive so I know we were saying before the next interview we do, we're gonna be doing on motorcycles. But what if we jump out of a plane instead?
Okay.
And knock it all out together?
In one day.
Yeah, let's just do both. We ride motorcycles to the place when we jump out of a plane.
Can you ride a motorcycle?
No, but you guys can teach me.
Okay. You can also hop on the back. Yeah. We both have bikes. You know, you can just hop on the back.
Perfect. I'm down. I've even slept on the back of a bunch actually. Well, there you go. So guys, the time flew by so fast. I like wanna keep talking to you but.
Oh is it? We're already over? I know. Boo.
Wow.
More time.
Well next time.
Next time.
Next time. Yeah.
