I am from Michigan, yeah.

Well, let's just cut to the chase. Congratulations on Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why.

I binge-watched Season 1.

Yes.

In less than 72 hours.

Yes.

No, we all did. We all did. Uh, yeah, I, I just, it's a really good show. I was lucky to be a part of it. How is it playing a bully? 'Cause you played a really good one. We We wanna make sure, too, that our that our viewers know that you guys are just playing characters. We made that a point throughout all your guys's interviews. Okay. Yeah. By the way. But, how is that?

I mean, being a bully is not normal for me. It's challenging to get into that head space and it's like, it is a place you have to go. So, that's not who I am as an individual. And, um, I think for him, I mean, the bully exterior is, is only a part of who he is and there's a lot more layers to hopefully dig into and maybe Season 2, we'll see, I don't know.

So, one scene that actually sticks out to me is the one where Montgomery is fighting Alex's character.

Yeah.

I wanna know what your mindset was during that scene because a lot of those scenes in that show specifically, they're almost like too long. You know what I mean? It's like you think they're gonna end but they just keep going and I heard that that's actually it was on purpose to get, you know, the viewers to feel those things.

Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, it's just, I mean, like, it was an exhausting day. I remember at the end of the day, Miles and I thought we had finally gotten done doing all of our fight scenes. And we were like, just bruised and sore and worn out. And then at the end of the day, they're like, we need one more. We need you to run through the whole thing one more time.

Oh my god.

I remember we both just looked at each other. We were just like, Oh. It was a challenging day and, uh, super tired and bruised the next day.

So, because we didn't get to know Montgomery like too much,
