Ross Lynch Talks AUSTIN & ALLY and TEEN BEACH MOVIE

Hey guys, I'm Erica Ross and I'm in the studio with Ross Lynch.

What's up?

All right, Ross, you've won a Kid's Choice Award, Radio Disney Music Award.

You're on fire right now.

I guess so.

You are.

Yeah, it's pretty exciting.

So you guys are on your third season almost of Austin and Ally.

Uh, what's it like on set?

What's the vibe like?

It's very, very, very cool.

And just everyone's just like super friendly.

Everyone loves their job on set and everyone's just super cool.

What's your favorite thing about filming the show?

Uh Is having a bunch of fans?

Being a heartthrob?

I don't know about that.

I mean, obviously like that's cool and stuff.

But I say the best part about like being on Austin and Ally is the whole experience of it all.

Like I learn so much whether I'm watching Caleb act cuz Caleb's such a great actor, Lauren Ray as well.

But um also like watching the directors and watching the writers and just learning all that stuff is really cool.

All right, Ross, you dance and you sing, which leads me to my next point, Teen Beach Movie, which you guys are teleported to the 60s.

So it's me and Mia Mitchell.

We play a couple and we get sucked into a 60s movie, which is a musical and it happens to be my character's favorite movie, but my girlfriend Mac just like desperately wants to get out so she can get back to her life.

All right, and you guys filmed in Puerto Rico.

Yeah.

And you had to learn how to surf.

I did.

And it was Was that difficult?

No, I love surfing.

But like right when we got to Puerto Rico, I was just like in the water ready to go.

It was so much fun.

That's amazing.

That's like the most awesome place to film.

Exactly.

No, it was literally the best time ever.

On your off time, did you guys just lay out all day and just hit the beach?

Yeah, and even when we like after we were filming, like even when it was like 12:00 at night, we just go on the beach with a few guitars and just like sing.

That's incredible.

All right, now, your cousin is Julianne Hough and Derek Hough.

So do they teach you any kind of dance moves or is it just in your blood?

I guess it's just in our blood.

And you're a big fan of ice hockey, I hear.

I am.

I've been playing since I was three years old.

Really?

Are you a big Kings fan?

I am.

I'm more of an Avalanche fan, but the Avalanche aren't doing too well right now.

So, my good.

Let's go Kings.

Let's win another Stanley Cup.

All right.

And then you also are big into like uh helicopter, remote control helicopters and such.

That's only because I can't fly real planes yet.

Okay.

Is that the goal?

Yeah, well, I'm I've I've flown real planes with my dad cuz my dad has a pilot's license.

And I literally used to like when I was really, really little, I had a booster seat and I would like fly the airplane, but I would pitch the airplane down so I could see, you know what I'm saying?

So it'd be but it'd be going down.

But anyways, that was a lot of fun.

But yeah, I fly with my dad all the time.

But since I can't like fly by myself, I fly RC.
