About this video

After 6 compelling seasons, TV Land's original series "Younger" is still going strong, and much of that is due to its stellar cast of fierce leading ladies, including Sutton Foster and Debi Mazar! Young Hollywood sits down with the two talented actresses during Viacom Press Day to get any scoop we can on Season 6 and the ongoing debate of Team Charles versus Team Josh! The show tackles a lot of issues and dilemmas in the land of love and relationships, so we are interested in hearing Sutton and Debi's own thoughts on these topics as well! They reveal whether or not they think it's possible to be in love with 2 people at the same time, plus they share their thoughts on what it's like to date in New York City as opposed to L.A. They also discuss the sometimes tricky scenario of dating someone who is either much older or much younger than themselves -- something Debi in particular has personal experience with! Finally, we ask the ladies to describe Season 6 of "Younger" in 3 different facial expressions...aaaand GO!

What's going on guys? Hanging with me right now I have Debbie and Sutton from Younger. Hello ladies.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

Hey.

Debi Mazar

Hi.

Young Hollywood

How are you doing? For now we're both attacking you. We know that you guys can't share too much about season 6, so we came up with some questions about love and relationships that kind of go with the show. So, we're going to start with those. Okay, first one. Do you think you can be in love with two people at once?

Debi Mazar

Absolutely. I have two lovers. I love that song. I mean, you probably sing it better than me, but like I think it happens often in life. Me personally, I prefer to have one at a time. I think that love is hard enough. Uh so, being in love with two is a nightmare but it's made for really good television.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

It does. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I I I definitely think that that you can have feelings for more than one person. Um as far as being in love with someone. I mean and love changes as you get I feel like love for me has changed as I've gotten older. It evolves and turns into something different. Um but I uh I definitely think that there is room I think there is room to love more than one person at at the same time. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Does Liza I think she's in love with both of them?

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

No, I think Liza is in love with Charles. I really do. But I think that she will always love Josh. Yeah. Isn't that weird? But I think I love Josh holds

Debi Mazar

I do too. That's the problem.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

It's like but I think Josh holds this little place in her heart and she just can't let him go. And I don't know if she even wa wants to let him go. Or I don't even think it's fair for her to So, I'm try I even as an ac as actress playing Liza, I'm like, well, why why does she have to let that go? Cuz it isn't that what Wouldn't that be sad to live the rest of her life without that little piece? You know? So, we're trying to figure out how to how to keep keep it all in there.

Young Hollywood

Oh, yeah. We can't wait to see. Trust. Okay, next one. Do you have any tips for dating in a big city like New York? Feel like it's very different than like a small town.

Debi Mazar

Well, I mean, I grew up in New York. So, I feel like um it's easier to date in New York than it is Los Angeles because LA is very vacuous and you are dependent upon your car.

Young Hollywood

True. There's a lot more spontaneity in New York City. Like you can yeah, and then LA everything feels like it has to be super planned.

Debi Mazar

Yeah, I mean like I meet people still all the time on the subway, in the park, in the grocery store. Like you're always walking. You're always on the street. Like I mean, I have to say I people people still turn their heads for me on the street. I'm like, Oh my god. Like,

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

Of course they do. I turn my head when I see you.

Debi Mazar

Oh, thank you. But you know like it's like I don't go for the whole sexual harassment thing in terms of like, yeah, girl, you look good. I'm like, Yes, I still got it. And that is still happening in New York. And I love it. Like make me walk near a construction site. I'm really happy. And I think that a lot of my single girlfriends when the Hudson Yards were being built. I said, go to the like lunch and net around the Hudson Yards. There's some hot guys. They're buff. And uh you know, I mean in LA I wouldn't I wouldn't know where to tell you to go.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

That's a really good point actually. I mean, I I'm grateful that I'm not dating in the age of Tinder. I'm so grateful. Or whatever it's called. Yeah, cuz I missed all that.

Young Hollywood

It's Tinder the gay men one?

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

No, that's Grindr.

Young Hollywood

Grindr.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

Okay, I I know I don't know. No, they didn't exist. I missed all that. Although I do think that that's a great way to meet people outside of your you know, outside of like your workplace. Cuz I feel like that's where you meet people. Yes. I would like like, yeah. Like

Debi Mazar

You can. You could pretend to be anyone you want. You could pretend to be younger.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

Right. But I'm I'm I'm

Young Hollywood

We got that. Okay, fair enough. Do you guys believe in timing needing to be perfect? So, like the debate of right person, wrong timing or like the reverse?

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

I mean, I think that that definitely comes into play and it's played in my life. You know, you meet people and you're like, oh man, if if only I were 10 years older or if only we lived in the same city or if only you weren't married. Or whatever then you know, whatever the situation is. I think it's fate. It's fate, you know, and you can't control it always.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. And just to play a little bit on your character Liza about the age difference thing. What are your what are your opinions on that?

Debi Mazar

I'm eight years older than my husband. And when I met him, we never thought about it. And his uncle once said to him, and he was stupid enough to tell me that that his uncle said, you know, when you're when she's 65, you know, and you're eight years younger, however, whatever age that is, 50 whatever. Like, it might matter. And he he goes, no, I love her. But I have to say that my husband's taller than me. He goes, um time to do your roots. Or like he loves me and it's okay, but I have to say being an old the older woman in the relationship I I mean, it's great cuz I have a hot younger guy who like like loves me. But it's it's a little I'm beginning to feel the difference. I'm just saying and I'm I I tell him all the time. So, like if you see this interview, Gabriel, But yeah. No. It's there is it's not always the easiest. The age difference thing. Yeah. Maybe if you're the younger chick. I I would think I'd rather be the younger chick.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

Okay. How funny. Yeah, I've never really dated extreme age difference. Um I mean, I'm not a cougar. I think eight years You're age eight years isn't that extreme. My mother's husband is 17 years younger. And they're on like

Debi Mazar

Oh wow.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

They're on like year 27. So, they're done. But age age a number age can really like it it can be like I was going to say age is blind. What is it what's the phrase?

Debi Mazar

Oh, I like that where you're going with that.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

You know? Like well that it can be like irrelevant. Yeah. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

To end the interview. Can you describe season 6 in three facial expressions? So, you guys will go at the same time.

Debi Mazar

I can't move my face.

Younger Stars Sutton Foster

Okay. All right. Well, I can still move mine.

Young Hollywood

So, you guys will go at the same time. 3, 2, 1. Ready? Okay.

Debi Mazar

Okay, we did the same face.

Young Hollywood

Okay. 3, 2, 1, go. And last one. 3, 2, 1, go. Oh, yes. You guys are on the similar vibe with those.

Debi Mazar

I guess I was. What was your second one? That's what I did.

Young Hollywood

Oh, ladies, thank you so much for joining us.

Debi Mazar

I think I did three. Oh, no. I did the same thing the first two times because I didn't think we were on the same page. Oh. What's my third one? I don't I don't know. Mine was like defiance. Mine is like Oh. I did do a lot. There was a lot. There were a lot of tears.

Young Hollywood

Thank you, ladies, so much for hanging out. Thanks for coming on Younger. You won't want to miss it. Whoo hoo.
