Welcome to younghollywood. com. Hey guys, it's Michelle May. We're celebrating the MTV Movie Awards with Jim Parrak. You all know him from True Blood, who plays Hoy. How are you?
I'm outstanding. How are you?
I'm good. It's a nice day here at the Montage, on a bad day in the neighborhood, you know. Yeah, it's nice. You're on a really hot show right now, True Blood. It's just blowing up. How do you feel about the success that you've had so far?
It's so crazy. It's amazing. Um, you know, we all working on it in the first season before it came out, believed in it. We really, really all get along. We really all like each other and hang out and take interest in each other. And so we felt like this was great. But there's never any way to know. And by the end of the first season, we kind of saw, wow, these fans are so wonderful. And, uh, you know, when we travel or if I go work someplace else, their fans are everywhere. Crazy. And they are so faithful. They really, really, they make it fun and we, we try to give them as much to sort of feed off of as we can.
So what could you say about Hoyt and what's going on with him?
Um, probably above all things, living on, on my own for the first time, not, not with an identity that's been given to me, but sort of just untethered, finding out who I really am.
How is this relationship with you and Jessica evolving in the next season?
We both change. It's very dynamic. Me not being sort of under the thumb of my mother and her being free and us having problems least to, it's kind of the starting point for the trip we take together for the whole season. So things change, things, uh, problems arise, uh, step to tune in. But it definitely, things do change. So, yeah.
That's why you have to tune in, you gotta watch. What crushes are going on right now? Any kind of crazy sexy things that's going on with your character?
Any kind of crazy sexy things? There will be crazy sexy things. Always. Uh, mixed with blood, Yeah. Sweat, hot bodies, cold bodies, doing their thing. You know? Yeah, they, there's, there's some new people on the show that are very sexy too. So.
Who do you mesh most most with on the set? Who's like one of your favorites that you really get along with well?
We really, I mean, sounds like a silly answer. We really all do enjoy each other. Deborah and I have, have a really, really close friendship and we kind of share the same approach, or not approach, but ideas about what acting can be.
Love that.
But then, uh, Ryan and Nelson are my dear, dear buddies. Uh, yeah, since day one. And Mikey, who was Renee in the first season, but he's gone now. But, but the four of us were very, very close. Not bad having a day at work with your best friends, your good friends, you know? Ryan and I literally thank God at the end of every day and look at each other and he says, uh, mate that wasn't work, you know. He's very, we're very grateful both of us.
Ladies, I mean, these guys are hot.
