The Sleepover Cast Reveal The Best On-Set Hype-Person

What's up gang? How are you guys doing? When's the last time all of you saw each other in person?

Do you guys stay in touch a lot or like texting, Zoom? What are you Yeah. What do you do usually?

Maxwell every once in a while. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. It feels like yesterday we just stopped filming, right? Second guest: I know, right? No, it doesn't feel like that long ago for sure. Wow. I miss hanging out with you guys. I want to see you guys in person.

So you guys obviously in like the trailer and the movie and everything, you're a very funny, close cast. When you guys found out that you guys got the part, did you know of each other?

I was working with Sadie when her role was being cast and I was working with Lucas when his role was being cast. So I knew, I I'm, I've already known Sadie for a couple years now before um, The Sleepover. I met Lucas, he was so awesome. And then when I was at the airport, actually, I said to my dad while we were checking in, I said, "Hey dad, do you think uh the person playing Mim is going to be on this flight?" And I can tell you the halos were shining down, she went, I went, "Yeah, she might be." Yes, yes. She might be on this flight. Yeah, exactly.

How do you guys usually hype each other up on set? Like when you were filming, do you hype each other up in any way?

Brie is the best hype girl ever. In any circumstance, whether you have a cute outfit on, whether you're doing an important scene, whatever it is, Brie is the best hype girl to have around. Definitely.

Sleepover's coming out on Netflix, which is obviously a very fun movie. Woo! Woo! It'll make you like that. The movie remind you at all of your guys's own family in any way in your kids?

My wife is a secret spy that I that I learned about a couple of months ago. So I guess there is some overlap. She has killed several several um, uh Russian spies uh in our backyard. That was weird. My kids watched it. That was sort of weird. It was a little bit more R-rated and graphic than what's in this movie. But you have to lighten up the those uh type of scenarios for um to make a family movie. But my wife, yeah, she's a um, she's a secret spy that I just learned about. Second guest: I always knew it about her. I thought so.

Do you think your own kids will watch the movie? Are you excited to watch it?

Oh, I'm forcing him to. Yeah, I have one. I'm going to force him to. I think he will love it, to be honest with you. I think there's so much in it for him. So, I'm excited to see. um, Is that what parents do, right? They force their kids to watch uh movies they want them to watch. That's what I'm going to do. Yeah. Just force them, yeah.

When they're watching, do they ever say anything like, why do you do that? Or like, do they understand what you're doing?

My son asked, "How much money did you make?" Which is as a teenager for you. Mine's only seven, so and this will be the first film that we'll get to watch together that I'm in because none of them have been good viewing for a seven-year-old. Second guest: He didn't watch Wanderlust?

He didn't. No, there's a bit too much adult content in that. But you know, maybe another year.

If you guys were just to sit down and watch the movie like everybody else, what scene do you think would be the funniest to you personally?

I think there's a lot of little funny scenes peppered in there, so, you know, I think the kids are quite funny too with their with their antics. Um, Oh my gosh, the kids are awesome. Uh, Max is hysterical. and uh, and uh, Brie and Sadie and Lucas, they're just they were really super talented kids, so watching them Yeah. perform and be funny was uh was a lot of fun.

And what are you guys? Do you think you'll watch it as soon as it comes out or you'll wait a couple days?

Premiere night for sure. That's We've already penciled it in. Not even penciled in, inked it in with Sharpie. That's happening for sure. Yeah.

Are y'all going to watch it on Zoom together? Or how are you going to?

Uh, I don't know. Separately. We'll see how we go. Second guest: You know what? What a great idea.
