Welcome to younghollywood. com.
Hey, you're watching Young Hollywood.
I don't know why you'd watch it. I am 34. I want a baby. I'm not having a conversation. I just saw a decade pass before my eyes. I want numbers, babe. Okay, five years, tops.
I'll give you three.
Fine. Okay. Great. So you're saying that you'll have a baby with me in three years.
Yeah. So let's talk about the show Parenthood. Obviously, it's based, you know, a little bit on the movie. It's uh about a family, uh four brothers and sisters who all have, you know, children of their own. I hope I'm not giving anything away. Peter Krauss has a couple kids on the show. And hopefully, it's uh amusing to watch other people go through your pain. I'm sorry, we can't all be the perfect couple like you and Christina and eat veggie burgers and go for fruit smoothies and stuff. You're an idiot. Are you gonna eat your food? Surprised. And you play Crosby and you're kind of a slacker on the show.
Yeah. Not much research. It's been said that I'm a slacker, but I just want to, for the record, I have a job. So I my definition of a slacker usually means unemployed. But I am a sound engineer and that's uh pretty gainful employment.
A job is a job. Yo, in this economy, for real. We're at work. Look at this. We're sitting down outside in California at Universal City Walk. Have you ever worked in office yourself?
When I was younger, I worked for my dad, cold calling people who were selling cars and I would try to tell them the benefits of sub-leasing. I didn't have many takers.
My name is Jeff.
Jeff, it's a pleasure. My name is Pierce Hawthorne and yes, that is Hawthorne as in Hawthorne Wipes, the award-winning moist toilet.
I was just gonna ask.
I'm also a toastmaster, so perhaps I should do the introductions. Right? You already know Britles. Britles? Uh, A. Bed, A. Bed the A. Rab. Is that inappropriate? Sure. Roy, Roy the Wonder Boy. Roy.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am here with Joel McHale, aka Jeff Winger.
Aka Ryan Seacrest. Yes, so you know the you know the main character. You've done research.
I know.
Thank you, Young Hollywood.
Would you think I wouldn't?
Uh, most don't. They spend more time doing their makeup. Just like I do. It looks good today.
Thank you. Now, you play a fast talking lawyer on the show. Give me your best Winger right now.
If I were speaking to someone like you, I would come on to you and go, oh, I used to produce television. We should uh go out sometime. And you'd be like, really? And I'd go like, yeah. And then we get into conversation. Then you'd realize I'd never, ever produced any television. But you would still end up falling in love. I'm actually a Spanish tutor. Board certified.
Can you say that in Spanish now? What about us? No, I'm gonna coach you. I really need help with Spanish.
Yeah, I was willing to bet.
I'm Jeff. Or J. F. A.
And are you gonna make fun of yourself on E? I just want to know.
Oh, yes. And don't worry, we will continue to make fun of Ryan Seacrest and Tyra Banks.
