Welcome to YoungHollywood. com. Hey Young Hollywood, it's Michelle Marie. We're here at Carrie Fiene's Gifting Lounge for the Emmys. Huge, huge, huge award show for you especially Mr. This is Rico Rodriguez as you all know from Modern Family, 14 nominations for Modern Family. How excited are you about that?

Super duper excited. Uh just for it being our first year, it's we are having a great run.

I know. I was just talking to Fred Willard who was nominated for guest actor and he thought you were brilliant but he called you a 40-year-old man. I mean he's like that kid's like a 40-year-old man. Do you consider yourself 40?

No. No, I don't. Maybe my character probably, but not myself 'cause a 40-year-old man wouldn't put band-aids all over his face and at two on his finger.

But you have the old school like Rat Pack style. You are always wearing a fedora every time I see you. Shout out to the past. So what do you like about the fedora?

Uh I don't know. It's when I first saw it, I liked it and it fit on my head. I'm like, "Okay, I'll I'll keep wearing these."

You have some pretty kicking style. I mean you got the fluorescent shirt on with the vest and you got the patent leather Air Force Ones. You liking it?

I'm loving it.

You loving it. Now of course, you know, you've been to all these different award shows but the Emmys is really big. So what are you most excited for the Emmys this week?

Well hopefully we can walk away with some awards. Maybe hopefully the prestigious one, the outstanding comedy that would be a great, great honor. Um but uh like I said, I mean um if we only get one or if we get two for all 14 or all five or something I I'll be fine with that. I'll be totally fine with it.

And as long as we can put it up in like the craft service where everyone else is.

Exactly. Where everyone else always does. So we every time you see, ah an Emmy.

So have you prepared something for you going up there?

No. I'm going to wing it.

You are?

Yeah, probably 'cause a lot of people say, "I I wrote a speech but I forgot it so I'm just going to speak from the heart." Right. So that's what I I'm going to do. I'm going to wing it and speak from the heart.

You're going to wing it, speak from the heart. So what are you going to do to prepare this day of the Emmys? Do you have any essentials that you're going to go for?

Um no, I mean I just want to make sure I have my glasses, make sure my pants don't fall down. Um make sure I have my tie on straight and I have the neck thing button.

Exactly. And you have to stay focused, right?

Yes, I have to get in the mood.

Get in the mood. Let's do it. What other shows are you most excited about uh this season as well besides your own?

I know one of the main stars from Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston. I like him as an actor. I never seen the show. Right. He told me not to see it 'cause it's not for me. Um I like some characters from Glee. Uh Matthew Morrison and I like Josh Sussman.

There we go. Yeah, he's so funny.

Yeah, he is.

Yeah. Maybe you guys can do a little comedy together.

Hopefully, yeah. That would be kind of cool.

It would. It would be. You should guest star on Glee. I could see you on that.

Really? Good idea. I'll be dancing probably. I'm not a singer but I'll probably I'll probably dance.

And what can we expect with your character and with the upcoming season?

Hopefully some romance. Um hopefully some romance. Um you expect some earthquakes. Manny has like a spiritual awakening so to speak. Okay. And then uh a lot of more Modern Family funniness.

Really? Yes ma'am. So more funniness. How can you even be funnier than you already are?
