Young Hollywood

Matthew, Matthew, Matthew. Hello. Hello. Welcome to Young Hollywood.

Matthew Noszka

Thank you for having me.

Young Hollywood

Do you remember your Young Hollywood interview? We were talking about it.

Matthew Noszka

I do now. For Let It Snow? It was so long ago, but it was a good one. I actually really love that press for Let It Snow. It was a lot of fun.

Young Hollywood

There's a lot of you too.

Matthew Noszka

Yeah, and it was it felt, I mean, that was the last time I did press. Obviously, we just talked about why. But, um, it's crazy doing it now cuz everything I've really done was a lot of virtual stuff. Yeah. So, I kinda missed the Let It Snow press cuz there were so many games and activities and things that we did as a group that were kinda cool and fun. But, here we are.

Young Hollywood

Here we are, for Perfect Addiction. We're gonna have fun.

Matthew Noszka

Yeah. Yeah, so much fun. As you see the whiteboard. Oh, man. Does that look fun to you?

Young Hollywood

We love a whiteboard.

Matthew Noszka

Yeah, we're about to find out, I guess. I heard there was gonna be a quiz.

Young Hollywood

There's gonna be a quiz. Okay, so they were kept asking like, what are we gonna do? What are we gonna do? And I was like, okay, it's a secret, but then I had to tell them because they kept asking. So, it is going to be a quiz.

Matthew Noszka

Well, they didn't tell me. I was not briefed on the quiz. That's good, though. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

But it's all about Perfect Addiction. Perfect. So, you should be able to answer everything.

Matthew Noszka

I should be able to, yeah. And you said you what? You watched it four times?

Young Hollywood

I've seen it four times. Yeah. So, it's like pretty specific questions, but if you watched it four times, you should have a good idea of what it is.

Matthew Noszka

Okay, well, maybe I shouldn't have prefaced that I watched it four times. Set myself up for failure.

Young Hollywood

Okay, so the whiteboard's all yours.

Matthew Noszka

Oh, we're jumping right into it already.

Young Hollywood

We're jumping right into it. There'll be questions throughout, but we're the quiz is beyond.

Matthew Noszka

Okay. I hope I spell everything correctly. Yeah, that's gonna be awkward for you. Yeah. Okay. Ready?

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Your costar, Ross Butler,

Matthew Noszka

Uh-huh.

Young Hollywood

has a neck tattoo on his neck. Yeah. What is the tattoo? And you write it down. The your answer that you're gonna put.

Matthew Noszka

Uh, uh, it has die in it.

Young Hollywood

You watched it four times.

Matthew Noszka

I know. Is it, is it And you've like literally punched him so many times. So, I hope I get this right. Is it Til death? Is it Til what is it? It's Til I die.

Young Hollywood

Til I die. Well, that was close enough. No, that's okay. That's okay. Ross might see this and be upset, but it's okay.

Matthew Noszka

Yeah, he might be. You know, it's funny, I wasn't really looking at his neck. And I thought it was Til death, but I guess it's Til I die.

Young Hollywood

What, okay, but you had so many tattoos as well, and you obviously don't have them in real life.

Matthew Noszka

I think I remember all mine. I'm pretty sure. The wings on the back? That was a good one. Wings on the back. Uh, the scorpion tattoo, I am a Scorpio. I had a girl tied up on my arm. I had a Polish crest on my chest. Anything else? I had a lion, I had a lion on my shoulder.

Young Hollywood

Did you have legs? No, you didn't have any legs tattoos.

Matthew Noszka

Not think so. No. But do you, um, how did that work?

Young Hollywood

The tattoo process was very interesting actually.

Matthew Noszka

Yeah, what was that? Um,

Young Hollywood

Was it like sweaty and like they're not coming off?

Matthew Noszka

No, they came off. Okay. And that was actually a big thing while we were filming. When we were shooting, the tattoos any take we did would just rub off.

Young Hollywood

That's what I was gonna say. And then they'd have to get them redone.

Matthew Noszka

Yeah, and tattoos took like four hours in hair and makeup. Yeah. Um, so like it definitely took a toll, but the by the end of it, they figured it out. They were spraying us down with I don't even know what it was, but it was something that held them pretty, yeah, pretty. Yeah. Keep them on. And then anything that they needed to touch up, they'd bring like a black marker in and then just kinda fill it in. Yeah. So, there's definitely scenes where I saw I was like, oh, yeah, I can kinda see that. But.

Young Hollywood

There's like one close-up of you that it's like, oh, like that's not real. But,

Matthew Noszka

Yeah, But it was so hard. I mean, a lot of the grappling, we were sweaty, and on top, you're just grabbing and wrestling. So, you're just rubbing them off. Yeah. And it was so hard to make them realistic. Um, I just did another movie called Marked Men, and I'm statted again. Yeah. Uh, and I sat in hair and makeup again like probably for like five hours. No, like six hours.

Young Hollywood

What did you do? Just go on your phone? You would sleep? Like, what did you?

Matthew Noszka

That's why I kinda don't remember the tattoos, because I'm just like laying there like, okay, they're on. Um, but the one for Marked Men, my whole leg, both sides, it's tatted from like my waist all the way down. Oh my gosh. But that's all. And they're like tribal tattoos. So, it's not like just individuals, it's just all covered. Yeah. But yeah, we didn't have any wrestling or fight scenes that rubbed off. I was so curious as to how they were not coming off. But. Yeah, I mean, they did a lot. And the hair and makeup ladies worked so hard. Thank you, guys, because they were just tirelessly working and actually prepping them, cuz the one girl who designed the tattoo, she drew them all. Oh my God. Yeah, so they had clearances to do every tattoo because the lady just did all the art. Yeah. Yeah. Ross's snake is sick. Til I die. How did I mess that up? I know. It's pretty It's pretty awkward. Til I die. I mean, duh.

Young Hollywood

Let's see if you can redeem yourself, cuz that was pretty pretty awkward for you.
