Welcome to Young Hollywood. com.
Hi everybody. My name is Tim Meadows and uh you're on the set of a web show that's called Easy to Assemble. I can't believe you would abandon me for Justine and you. Did that night at Carrie Fisher's house mean nothing to you? You've only been working here for three weeks. I'm coworker of the year. Doesn't that mean anything to you? Look, I want a Teen Choice Award. It isn't done me any good.
I voted for you. Thanks. Hey, Young Hollywood. I'm here with Tim Meadows and we are on the set of Easy to Assemble and you are an IKEA employee for the day or for three weeks. Right, exactly.
Something I could not do in real life. I can do it on camera though.
You guys just shot a really funny scene on the airplane. You're working today with David Henry, um who normally is on Wizard of Waverly Place. You guys have a great comedic fun little thing going on. Lots of improv.
Yeah, it was fun. I've never met him before and uh but we have common friends in common. But it's always a nice surprise when you work with somebody and you find out that you have chemistry and you can make something happen. You can make somebody laugh, they make He really was setting me up for stuff. I mean, he was like a pro out there.
He is a pro. Is this the first time you've worked with Eliana?
Uh, yeah, it is. We we met at a party a few years ago.
And Carrie Fisher's?
Carrie Fisher's. That's actually that's a true So, that's actually part of the script, the truth. It was and we we spent the whole evening together talking and, you know, at the party. Yeah. And we hit it off really well. She was great. And then we would talk on the phone. We never It was never dating or anything like that. It was just always just friendship stuff. But, yeah, I love her. She's great. And so she wrangled me into this thing.
Is it hard for you on these sets to to contain yourself to not be laughing all the time?
Um, not that hard. It's trained pretty well. I'm sort of trained. And also I like I don't laugh at I'm not a very happy person in general. So, it's not like I'm walking around like you smiling and being chipper. I'm I'm pretty dour and pretty uh I'm like just left of being depressed. But, does that makes you job So then it really is like going to work because you have to turn on and be like, oh, now I'm happy.
Yes, and it's very tiring. So, at the end of the day, you know, I when I I'm emotionally drained because I'm really sad but I've been pretending to be happy all day. It's tiring being people. That's kind of ironic a bit, isn't it?
It is ironic. It's the definition of ironic. Yeah. Right.
What things happen to make you just laugh personally? What things put a smile on your face?
Um, whenever I see an old man slipping on ice, it makes me laugh. And it's not the falling part. Um, it's the build up to the fall. When old men slip on ice, they they can never just go, oh my God, I fell. They got to make a big spectacle out of it. They go, oh, oh, oh my God. I'm falling. I'm falling. They make a big deal out of it instead of just going That's why they old people hurt their hips all the time. Because they just because they make too big of a deal about out of the fall. They just went down. Just go down. You might hurt your ankle, you know? But instead they got to make oh my God. I'm falling. And then it's like, oh, hip, you know?
You should do a hidden camera show of what old people do when they fall. Slow motion. Now we've set up this ice rink. Let's see how many old people can walk across there. You should go back on the Craig Ferguson show. That's what you should do. You should be like, dude, get me some ice and get a bunch of old people and let's try to see how many hips we can break and
