Welcome to younghollywood. com.
What's up, guys?
Leslie Robbins here for Young Hollywood, coming to you from backstage at Dancing with the Stars, where I've got your one-on-one with the show's host, Tom Bergeron.
We're behind the scenes.
Dancing with the Stars.
Set the scene, set the mood, backstage.
What goes on?
Well, I usually hide here in my dressing room because it's very relaxing while the couples are out there using whatever floor space they can find to to rehearse last minute.
Do you ever get in trouble for anything you say once you go to commercial, you said something, it's out there?
One time I said, we're going to slip Bruno a rooffie.
And and they asked me please not to.
So when you're backstage, who's more nervous?
The stars, the pros, what's the energy like?
Yeah, that's that's a good question.
The stars tend to be because the pros, in most cases, know they got a gig next season too.
And and also they they know how to do it.
It's like I'm the least nervous person so far, especially once they pick up my option.
But the stars are are nervous and you know, and and the pros to be fair, are nervous on behalf of.
Your one-liners, priceless.
Thank you.
So, obviously, they're not planned.
It's like the format's made for you.
That's the nature of it, I live.
I mean, it's it's improvisational.
It's in the moment.
I really started feeling comfortable about how I hosted the show, midway through season two when I got rid of most of the scripted material.
But everything else, my response to the dances, the judges, the experience of the show, it's all improvised.
Improvisational, because how else do a live show, really, other than to react honestly and in the moment?
So, that's something that I've always loved to do.
Your most embarrassing moment on this show.
Pick any season because it's live.
Most embarrassing moment.
I've built a career on having embarrassing moments.
