Now, how was it when you met him?
It was great. I had no idea he was British.
So when you think of accents, did you just go back and forth with him? Cuz he had back.
I I love accents. Yeah, I could never do a British accent, but he's I had no idea.
Hey guys, Erica Ross here for Young Hollywood. We are here with the star of Necessary Roughness, Hannah Marks, on the set of her photo shoot where we talk beauty and Spider-Man. Hannah, is this like one of the best parts of the job? Is it just getting dolled up?
Yes, definitely. Um, I love fashion so much, so it's really fun having people that know what they're doing.
So I heard you have a very extensive, uh, Jeffrey Campbell collection.
I do. I'm obsessed, but I can't walk in them. I I was wearing the the wedges, the leopard wedges and I I fell on nothing and I twisted my ankle. So now I gotta.
So they're mostly just for show. They just stay in your closet. Is that what you're saying?
I keep them in on display. I mean, they're beautiful. I'm just clumsy.
All right, well, we're gonna catch up with you outside when you're all done.
Okay, great. Thank you.
This is your first look of the day. You look fantastic for your photo shoot. Do you ever get nervous?
Oh, thank you. Um, I do get nervous. Um, it it is weird, you know, getting all dolled up and stuff it it can be kind of unnatural, but it is really, really fun and I feel really lucky to be here with all these amazing people.
The second season of Necessary Roughness just came out, just premiered. Congratulations.
Thank you. Thank you.
How was it working on that show?
It's pretty amazing. All the actors are really, really talented. Um, Callie Thorne plays my mom and I really, really look up to her. I think she's an amazing talent, so I feel very lucky.
It's none of my business here, but earlier, on the phone. You okay?
Yeah, yeah, it's just stupid stuff. Sometimes I just really hate kids.
I don't know if it helps, but it gets better. Now, you have a brother in the series, but you're an only child.
Yeah.
Do you guys goof around on set and have fun?
Oh, we do. We hit each other. We we physically punch each other. We get a Oh, nation. Yes, it's fun. It's really fun.
And now you have a movie coming out next year, You Can't Win.
Yeah.
And tell us about that.
It takes place in the late 1800s. So, it's my my first time doing a period piece that's not, you know, in the '70s. It's, you know, a long time ago. And I'm playing a prostitute. Um,
I heard that. I saw it online.
Yes, so, um, I'm playing the love interest to young Jack Black, who's played by Michael Pitt.
Oh, that's fantastic. And how's it work with Michael Pitt?
He's amazing. It's great. He is he's such a huge talent and I love Boardwalk Empire.
You know, health and beauty is a big part of what you do. Do you cook?
I I can microwave things. That's all I am. I'm like, uh, yeah, frozen food sections perfect. Yes, that's what I think when I'm, you know, moved out and such, um, I will go to the grocery store and just go to the microwaveable section.
Yeah, moving out. If you move out, where are you gonna go? What are you thinking?
Oh, I'm not planning on moving out anytime soon.
Yes. So you're happy with mom's veggie soup?
I'm very happy with my my mom's veggie soup. Yeah, um, I don't know, maybe one day I'll go to New York or stay in LA. I'm not sure. I mean, I kind of wanna live the life of Lena Dunham and Girls and or, you know, Sex and the City and Friends. It's kinda the dream to live in New York.
You're in the Amazing Spider-Man, which is coming out any day now. And you play
I play Missy Kallenback, who's an big crush. She's, well, she's kind of the school nerd and I don't know if you'll be able to tell how much she has a crush on Peter Parker when you see the film. But that was my back story was that she kind of drools over him because I mean, he's Peter Parker.
I was gonna say, I mean, and it's really not hard to drool over. I mean, it's Andrew Garfield.
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I love The Social Network, so I was a huge I was huge huge fan of his already.
And how was it when you met him?
It was great. I had no idea he was British.
So when you think of accents, did you just go back and forth with him? Cuz he had back.
I I love accent. Yeah, I could never do a British accent. But he's I had no idea. So that was cool when I met him cuz he does such a flawless American accent.
