Welcome to Younghollywood. com. I'm here with Mark Salling, aka Puck from Glee.
Are you quitting to join Homo Explosion?
No. Doing both. Cause you can't win without me and I don't connect.
This show has just had so much success. How has your life changed? Like what is the most dramatic change that you've had so far?
I still keep all the same friends. It's not that different, I'm not gonna lie.
I know you guys have a lot of chemistry on the set. What is it like working with the rest of the cast?
It's uh, it's cool. I mean, we're all like best friends, we're like family and uh, I like everyone, so.
How did you actually get on Glee? Like what was the, what was the whole process for you?
Yeah, I just responded to this Craigslist ad and uh, a personal ad, Craigslist. That's not true. I'm completely kidding. I mean, it was, it was kind of a long surreal experience, so
That's cool. What is the biggest blessing that you've had so far?
Uh, just being able to perform, like I did a Neil Diamond song and that's my mom's favorite artist. Sweet Caroline. Good times never seemed so good. She about died in a pile over that one. So that was pretty sweet.
Can you show us your hair? Just do a little duck. Show us your hair. There you go. You play the bad guy on the show, but it doesn't look like you're a bad guy, even though you still have the mohawk going.
Yeah, I mean, on the show, I'm a bad guy, but in real life, I'm the worst guy.
He says that with a serious face. He's the worst guy ever. Ladies, so, how are you enjoying all the lady attention so far?
The lady attention? You know you're getting it. I see you all the time. I get more dude attention, like at the gym and stuff, you know, you get that like.
What's the worst pickup line you've heard?
I don't know, uh. Do you have a, do you have a MySpace? Are you like, no, MySpace is dead. What do you have? Do you have a Facebook, Twitter, what do you do? I have Friendster, so just like, you know, add me or poke me or, yeah, friend me.
Any idea that this show was gonna take off the way that it did?
No, I did not. No, I'm thankful, but I had no idea. I just knew I wanted to work with Ryan Murphy and uh, that, yeah, so it kind of came from that. So.
What's the one thing about you that's completely different from who you really are? Are we gonna play 20 questions? How about I turn this around on you? Last question.
Yes. I'm an avid ornithologist. I love bird watching.
You like to watch birds? Really? Do you have a bird bath in your backyard?
I don't have a backyard, but if I did, I would.
Where do you live? What's your address? You have fun with stalkers out there.
I live at 1234 Sesame Street. So.
Sesame Street. Did you watch that when you were a kid?
Of course.
Hey, I'm Mark Salling from Glee, you're watching Young Hollywood.
