What's going on guys? Hanging with me right now. I have Brooklynn Prince and Finn Wolfhard. Woo! How are you guys?

Finn Wolfhard

Two on one. I'm Oh, I'm doing great.

Brooklynn Prince

And I'm doing fine as well.

Finn Wolfhard

I'm doing fine and great.

Young Hollywood

I can work with that. Fine. Yeah, I'm doing good. So, well, you guys, it's so good to see you because I actually, I was looking back in our archives. It's been since 2017 since I saw you both.

Finn Wolfhard

Oh, wow.

Young Hollywood

Florida Project, Stranger Things. Oh, yeah. Yeah, and you guys are still killing it. Now in the turning. Congratulations.

Finn Wolfhard

Thank you.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah.

Finn Wolfhard

It's been it's fun, yeah, it's been fun.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, I can imagine. Also, I have to really say congrats on the movie because you guys got me good. I have to say, you scared me like crazy.

Brooklynn Prince

Oh, well, he did most of the scaring.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah. Honestly.

Brooklynn Prince

You like, I didn't think kind of. You're pretty scary at some points.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah, I'm a little bit scary.

Brooklynn Prince

You're pretty creepy when you're just like kind of standing there, you know?

Finn Wolfhard

That's good though. Just going to I'm just going to at night I'm just going to stand in the middle of your door.

Young Hollywood

Okay, see, that's what I'm talking about. Also, I was sitting in the back of the screening room like far back and it was it was creepy, but it's a nod to you. Congratulations.

Finn Wolfhard

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

Yes. So, what made you guys want to sign on to this?

Brooklynn Prince

Um I didn't. But then I heard he was playing my brother, and I was like, um I'm doing it.

Finn Wolfhard

Thank you. That's a real story.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah, that is.

Finn Wolfhard

And it's awesome. And I also I didn't I didn't end up watching Florida Project. If I did watch Florida Project, I would have done it I would have done it even more because like I would have I would have been even more uh like positive about it. But um uh I really like the character, and Floria is a or amazing director was so positive about the whole thing, and she knew exactly what she wanted, and um she uh yeah, she just set up the this amazing kind of um this kind of vibe from her um that I could really tell she was really passionate about it. She was really passionate about the project, so I wanted to come out and help her. Yeah. And she did an awesome job for sure.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah. She's amazing.

Young Hollywood

So, speaking of the film, it takes place in that huge house like the entire time. So, I want to know, anything weird happen on set? Any ghost stories you can tell?

Finn Wolfhard

No. I know, I know that sucks, but

Brooklynn Prince

What? Really? We don't.

Finn Wolfhard

Honestly, we had a fun time making it, and people really hate when people when we say that. Because they're like, what? Because like, we really we don't want to make up a story that would be lying. So.

Brooklynn Prince

There's nothing.

Finn Wolfhard

Exactly. But uh, but we had fun. There's we um we tried to make it as like light as possible on set, so it's fun.

Young Hollywood

Okay, so I'm going to change the question then. Anything weird's ever happened to either of you just outside of the film then? Fun ghost stories.

Brooklynn Prince

I Um, a lot of my parents and people I know have had those stories. Um, I'm only nine, and I have, well, I do have a big imagination. Sometimes when I feel like I'm walking like at night, um down like the hallway to go to the bathroom, um I feel like someone's behind me. But um, I know that's just my imagination. But um, I I believe in ghosts though, so.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah. I mean, I would too. They're real.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah.

Finn Wolfhard

I haven't had a supernatural, but we did shoot in this uh for a movie. I was in this really weird uh abandoned building where like a bunch of people died in it. Um, and it yeah, it felt when we went in, we were like, oh, this doesn't feel good at all shooting here. But uh, you know, nothing no no like banging on the walls or anything, no like apparitions or anything.

Young Hollywood

Well, on a lighter note, Finn, your band, The Aubreys, they're featured on the soundtrack. Yes. Congratulations. That's super cool.

Finn Wolfhard

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

How did that come about?

Finn Wolfhard

Well, um,

Brooklynn Prince

You guys are so cute.

Finn Wolfhard

Ah. Um, we so, um, I just was writing more music and um didn't really and and Floria said, um, hey, my husband Laurence, her husband is Laurence Rothman, who's this amazing musician and producer in LA, and so I went for a day and and uh we had a riff from I had a riff from like a year before, and then went to Floria's house and recorded it, and it was a day and it was it was uh really fun and easy. I'm glad um it happened.

Young Hollywood

So, who are you guys listening to when you're not working?

Brooklynn Prince

Um, um, I listen to a lot of Queen, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, I love all that stuff. I like some of the new

Finn Wolfhard

Frank Sinatra is the best.

Brooklynn Prince

music. I like some of the new music. Um, my favorite song right now is Into the Unknown only because like it plays all the time and like it's a real good power ballad to start off the day.

Young Hollywood

Mhm. You have some good taste, girl.

Brooklynn Prince

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

I could not have answered that question like any better. Um,

Finn Wolfhard

That's why you guys get along.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah, I know. I know.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah, we um I've been listening to a lot of other band called Wilco. They're like a classic, they're amazing from Chicago. I've listened to that and I've um like a lot of Pavement and Neil Young and like a lot of that kind of like folk music as well. Um, yeah, I've been listening, yeah, to a bunch of stuff.

Young Hollywood

Cool. So, going back to the movie, I want to know what was the hardest thing about filming and then what was the most fun?

Brooklynn Prince

The hardest thing was leaving. Aw. Um, the most funnest thing was um, you know, getting to hang out with everybody, getting to create this movie, this beautiful, wonderful movie that I I think is really going to get a lot of um, uh, what do you call it? Attention. Yeah, attention. Um, and I just I loved it all. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

What about you, Finn?

Finn Wolfhard

Um, yeah, I think the hardest part was just I would say the hardest part was when we got snowed in. There was a specific We It snowed in Ireland, like it snowed more than most in 40 years. So, we were snowed into our hotel for like three or four days. We couldn't leave. And it was on a hill, so like no cars could get up. So, we were just stuck in the hotel for four days. At least it was a hotel.

Young Hollywood

Oh, did you have more to the story?

Finn Wolfhard

I went sledding. Cool. It was still fun. It just like I went sledding and I built a snowman, but still I was missing set and like.

Young Hollywood

After the second day, you're like,

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah. After the second day, I'm like, I am done with snow. Yeah. I'm like, snow, snow, go away. Come back another day.

Young Hollywood

Mhm. I love that.

Finn Wolfhard

We want to finish our movie. That's right. Yeah. Nice. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Okay, so because the movie scared me so much, truly, I have a weird thing with like ghosts and the paranormal, it really freaks me out. So, I want to know, what scares you guys in real life?

Brooklynn Prince

One word. Uh What is it? Pennywise.

Young Hollywood

Ooh, okay. Pennywise scares her. Yeah. Uh I get that. Yeah.

Finn Wolfhard

Um, to me, it's like like street rats. They're so gross. I think they're uh, I hate rats so much.

Brooklynn Prince

When we were doing putting the hand in the box, there was like something furry in there.

Finn Wolfhard

Ew. But like he thought it was a spider, so he won't put it or like um a rat, so like he I didn't put in my hand. No. I hate rats so much. There and like mice, like little mice, like pet mice are like cute. Like, I get it. But like an possum, like, dude, so gross. Like, I don't

Young Hollywood

So, you must not have fun in like New York subways then, huh?

Finn Wolfhard

Uh, I have yet to see a New York rat. I've Yeah. I'm very shocked, too. But let's just pray. Knock on wood. Is there any wood in here? Let's pray.

Young Hollywood

One moment for Finn. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Finn, also, I do want to bring up. The last time I saw you, I asked you what your strangest phobia was. Can you guess what you said?

Finn Wolfhard

Did I say like bananas or something? It's not It's not I'm scared of them. I hate bananas. They're disgusting. They're like my least favorite food.

Brooklynn Prince

Do you like bananas?

Young Hollywood

Yes. Me too. I don't like olives though.

Brooklynn Prince

You don't like olives? Oh, no. So, you don't like pickles then, too.

Young Hollywood

I like pickles. I like pickles. I like pickles. Oh, you do. Interesting. I just don't like the taste of olives.

Brooklynn Prince

Even the green ones?

Young Hollywood

Wow, I'm not impressing her right now.

Brooklynn Prince

Especially the green ones.

Young Hollywood

You really really struck a chord with her. Yeah, sorry. Okay, I'm going to lighten the mood because we have a quick would you rather game with questions based off of the film. Oh, I should have started with this. You got really excited. Okay, here we go. Would you rather sleep in the sewing room for one night by yourself or stick a needle in your eye?

Brooklynn Prince

Ooh, sleep in the sewing room.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah, I would not want to stick a needle in my eye.

Young Hollywood

Did you guys see the film? The sewing room is terrifying.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah. No, we Yeah, no, it's a Yeah. There's a carpet in there. It's nice.

Young Hollywood

That's all Finn needs is a carpet.

Finn Wolfhard

I'm just want to curl up and like cuddle up to the cuddle up to the mannequins and Yeah.

Young Hollywood

All right. Weirdo.

Finn Wolfhard

Hey, mannequin. You want to have a sleepover?

Brooklynn Prince

Just bring my nail polish and be like, oh my gosh, girl, yeah. If I'm ever stuck in there, I'm bringing you cuz I feel like you'd be like a good energy to have in there.

Young Hollywood

Okay, next one. You're very Zen. Yes.

Young Hollywood

Okay, would you rather have nightmares every night or see Quint in every mirror?

Finn Wolfhard

You passed.

Brooklynn Prince

Oh. Quint in every mirror. Yeah.

Finn Wolfhard

Quint in every mirror, yeah.

Young Hollywood

What? Oh my gosh. I thought you guys were going to answer totally differently.

Finn Wolfhard

No, yeah. He's creepy. He

Brooklynn Prince

Oh, yeah. I for sure cuz I know Neil is the guy that plays Quint. I just think, oh, hi, Neil. Like, that's. Yeah. I'll be like, oh, hey, how are you doing today? Yeah. That's how I look at it.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah. It's different for us.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah, it's different for us.

Young Hollywood

Fair. Okay, next one. Would you rather be stuck in the mansion all alone or eat the giant spider?

Brooklynn Prince

Stuck in the mansion all alone. Or stuck, like not being able to get out?

Young Hollywood

Yeah, that's what I mean. Stuck.

Brooklynn Prince

To be of course. Yeah. As opposed to, yeah, yeah. Um, yeah, I would do that. I would do that. Well, like, can I like, could I like fry the spider? And like saute. This is getting technical. Cuz it is a delicacy in some places. People do eat spiders. Like, I can I just like saute it and like put some So some soy sauce? Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Sure. Sure.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah. Then I do that. Then I'll be like, yeah, for sure. Yeah. Why not?

Young Hollywood

Okay, next one. Would you rather play flashlight tag in the East Wing or ride horseback in the Dark Maze by yourself?

Brooklynn Prince

Oh, wow. Good question.

Finn Wolfhard

Play tag in the East Wing because at least I'm with someone else.

Young Hollywood

That's so creepy. You're supposed to be by yourself.

Finn Wolfhard

Horse. Oh, wait. I am. Maze. Maze. I'd ride. How do you play tag by yourself? Oh, there's ghosts in there. Aren't they? Okay, I got it. Yeah, yeah. I'd rather I'd rather do it.

Brooklynn Prince

He said, yeah.

Finn Wolfhard

Yeah, maze.

Young Hollywood

All right, this is a fun one. Last one. Would you rather be haunted by the dolls in the house or terrorized by a Demogorgon?

Brooklynn Prince

I'd rather be terrorized by the dolls in the house. Yeah. I I like dolls. I'd be like, mommy's here, babies. It is okay.

Young Hollywood

She's right. Her character liked the dolls.

Brooklynn Prince

Yes. They're possessed dolls. Yes. I'd be like, I am the original possessed doll.

Finn Wolfhard

I'd choose a Demogorgon because I could like it's I could kill it. Yeah. You know what I mean? I just call Eleven and I'll be like, hey, can you just Hey, can you come over? Yeah. Can you just like, can you just like come over and kill this Demogorgon? I'm really trying to watch something, so, yeah. He's screaming at my face and I don't know what he wants.

Brooklynn Prince

Yeah. Exactly.

Young Hollywood

We got to bring you into the next season, I think, to Stranger Things. How about that? That'd be fun, right?

Finn Wolfhard

I'm I'm just going to be speed dial. I'm going to be like

Young Hollywood

You'd be a baby Demogorgon.

Finn Wolfhard

I'm going to be, yeah, I'm going to be like be like, everybody loves me. I start fires. It's like that Secret Life of Pets 2. I start fires.

Young Hollywood

I don't think I know what you're talking about. I would like to.

Finn Wolfhard

In Secret Life of Pets 2, there's two twin kittens, and they go, and they turn around, and they smile, and they go, we start fires.

Young Hollywood

Oh, okay, got it. And you would in this case. Okay, got it. Yeah. Well, that was her answer. So. Brooklynn, Finn, thank you so much for hanging out. Congratulations on the film. It is truly scary, and you guys did such a good job.

Finn Wolfhard

Thank you so much.

Young Hollywood
