What's up guys? It's Casey here with Young Hollywood and I am hanging out with the Bachelor himself. Colton Underwood, what's going on?

Colton Underwood Reflects

Thank you. Thank you. Not much, not much.

Young Hollywood

Am I still considered the Bachelor? Not always. We hope one day you'll be

Colton Underwood Reflects

I hope one day I'm not the Bachelor. But yeah, thank you, thank you. Um yeah, so we are actually chilling in one of the craziest gyms I have ever seen in my life, the Muscle Farm, which is apparently just like the gym you come and work out.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Colton Underwood Reflects

This is this is my everyday gym.

Young Hollywood

So what is like your typical workout set here?

Colton Underwood Reflects

I changed since I stopped playing football, I changed my workout regimen. So now I'm more cardio like um interval training, circuit training. So I just like to get the heart rate up, get in and out. So maybe an hour, maybe two hours max working out every day. So.

Young Hollywood

So now we all know the secrets of how Colton prepared for the shower scenes.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Oh, you're right. You're right. The shower scenes in the fence were all produced for Muscle Farm. All produced from here. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Um well, speaking of the Bachelor, you just came off the show.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Yep.

Young Hollywood

I have to admit, I've been a Bachelor Nation fan for as long as I can remember, probably since the very beginning.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

And I'm not I'm going to be honest, like you were literally one of my favorite Bachelors.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Thank you. I appreciate it. I appreciate it.

Young Hollywood

Honestly, for so many reasons, cuz you were just so true to yourself. You know, you followed your heart, you followed your gut. You know, you did everything that actually led to a very abnormal ending.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Which thank God, led to a very happy ending at the same time.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Right. Right.

Young Hollywood

You first were on The Bachelor as a contestant for Becca's season, then Bachelor in Paradise, now as The Bachelor. I guess like throughout the whole process, what's like, what did you learn about yourself the most?

Colton Underwood Reflects

I think just the one thing that I learned is just how to be comfortable in my own skin and just own who I am. I think for so long there was a part of me who always just wanted to fit in and blend in. Um But now like, I actually want to stand out. I want to be different and I take pride in that. So I think that's that's one thing coming through that, you know, you could only do that at going through something like as changing as The Bachelorette, Paradise and then The Bachelor. So, I enjoyed it. I had a I had a blast. It's been a crazy year but it's been a good one.

Young Hollywood

We all went through an emotional roller coaster with you. I cried pretty much every time. Yeah. Um, it was a very dramatic season, but you know, how did you, you know, coming off of it now, you guys are living somewhat a normal life, I would say, right?

Colton Underwood Reflects

We're trying to just do normal things and I think the hardest thing right now is just not planning things and really taking every day for what it is and, um, I think just the best part about it is we're happy. We're in love and we're dating. Um, and I know that's so different than what the Bachelor franchise is used to, but

Young Hollywood

But it's so real though. It makes them so much more.

Colton Underwood Reflects

That's us. Right. And and the pressures that come along with the show, I wasn't okay with just because, you know, I wanted to do what was best for our relationship and what was best for our relationship wasn't an engagement at the end of it. Yeah. But we're very happy and uh things are going well.

Young Hollywood

What's been kind of like one of the highlights you and Cassie have had. I know you guys have been going on so many trips together. Yeah. You have no shortage of photos by the way. Your social media is like 10,000 photos a day, which is so cute. I love that though.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Yeah. Absolutely. Filming it is one thing. You film it for three months. And then you have to sort of sit on your hands and be in this relationship and you're still making all these memories but you can't document them and you can't, you know, share them with people for four months. So, I have a whole camera roll of, like. I have four months worth of photos that you will all see at some point.

Young Hollywood

What's like something that you've learned about Cassie that we might not know about in the last few months that hasn't been on the show? Oh. Any funny thing about her or something she

Colton Underwood Reflects

She's big on lists. Like she makes lists on lists. So like she she writes everything down. Um whether it's the grocery store, whether it's my pet peeves, she has a list in her phone.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, she has a Wait. Can you tell me? You got to tell me. What is the list of your

Colton Underwood Reflects

She she doesn't like when I leave wrappers open. Like I'll have like a rice cake or a bread and I won't close it fully and I'll leave it open and it can get stale and she gets upset with me. Um she she has she has a running list of that. She has a running list of uh words that I don't say correctly or if I like mispronounce them.

Young Hollywood

Like?

Colton Underwood Reflects

I try my Oh, there's there's been a lot. It's it's been really bad. Um there was a city in Hawaii. Uh it's called Waikiki, but I I guess that's not what it is. I don't know. She has like I think it's up to 12 now. But uh she's a speech pathologist. That makes a lot of sense. Yep. And then she's she talks with her hands a lot too, which I find is so cute.

Young Hollywood

Do you have you have no pet peeves about Cassie or do you? If she has a list of yours.

Colton Underwood Reflects

She leaves the water running when she brushes her teeth, which is like, that's that gets to me. That's so California. Yeah. That one and then uh she uses way too many paper towels. Like she doesn't know how to reuse something. She'll she'll like wipe it once and like throw it away and then she goes and gets another one. I'm like, you could just use the other side of that paper towel. But, you know, everybody has their things. I'll let her have hers.

Young Hollywood

You know, another thing about you, which was you're super passionate about your charity. Yeah. Which, you know, for people who live with Cystic Fibrosis. I know it's something that's close to your heart. So, you know, kind of what's sort of been what you're doing with the charity now and how can people get involved?

Colton Underwood Reflects

So, I opened up the Legacy Foundation and I sort of built it to be this small regional charity in in my hometown of Illinois. One off season, I hosted youth football camps there and, um, it sort of exploded into this now national foundation that are raising money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. And something for me is, um, there's so many great foundations that support CF research and development, but there isn't a lot of foundations that actually affect the families specifically. So, that's something that I'm really passionate about. My little cousin Harper was born with CF and I I knew I wanted to use my platform for good. I knew I wanted to get involved and I sort of found a way to do that in a unique way. And right now we're working on something called the Legacy Project where we surprise CF patients and their families with, um, new medical vests. We're going to every state. So we have 50 vests in 50 states and, um, we're surprising them with that. So it's life changing for these kids, it's life changing for the families and it's something that I I very, very passionate about and something that, you know, I take a lot of pride in.

Young Hollywood

So, you know, another thing we obviously have to talk about, the fence jump. Yes. Gotta get to the fence jump here. Yeah. When I was watching the episode when Chris was coming after you and he just like opened the fence like super easily. I was just kind of like, you just didn't even think to

Colton Underwood Reflects

My thinking was get over the fence. I don't think anybody really could else could get over that fence. So I'll just get over the fence and be gone.

Young Hollywood

You made it look so easy at the same time.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Yeah. I had to get out. I had to get out of there.

Young Hollywood

So when you got over the fence were you just like, where the hell am I? Like, what did I just do?

Colton Underwood Reflects

Oh, yeah. But it was it was nice and refreshing cuz nobody really gets to see this thing, but you guys watch the show, but behind the scenes, I mean, I'm always with a producer, a handler, a camera operator, an audio guy and Yes. I think there's just there's something about being alone and being able to have your like gather your thoughts and gather your feelings and really figure out what's going on, that is so refreshing. And that's what I needed.

Young Hollywood

Where were you when you watched that episode? Like, I need to know. Were you with Cassie and was that the first time she saw you jump the fence?

Colton Underwood Reflects

Yes. So actually watching that episode. I don't know if anybody knows this. I was actually in Huntington with watching with her family. So I watched that whole entire episode of her breaking up with me with her family. Yeah. Wow. We watched a lot of hard episodes together. Um, and I think just having each other's backs and being so it just helped us. Like knowing that we were getting through this together and knowing that, you know, she's very close to her family. I'm very close to mine and I'm a big believer in like when you're together, it's our family.

Colton Underwood Reflects

Like it's just one big family. We wouldn't change anything about how it all went out because and how it all played out because it showed me how much I loved and cared for her.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Yeah, it definitely showed for sure. Um, well, we are in the gym, so speaking of the fact that you are a pretty good jumper. Yeah. I think we all know that. We're going to put you to the test. Are you are you up for the challenge?

Colton Underwood Reflects

Let's do it.

Young Hollywood

I may or may not be giving out a rose. Let me show you so we take these off. These don't look good on camera. I want that rose. We're flipping it's heavy. Oh! I'm already out. That was like, that was tough. I think this could go on all day. I'm totally okay with that by the way. I really wish I could give this to both of you, but
