At Home with David Spade

Welcome to Younghollywood. com. Hi, I'm Aaron Coscarelli and I am in Malibu, California at David Spade's house. He's never let cameras in before, so this is a Young Hollywood exclusive.

But that way is uh all famous people. Actually, dolphins come all all the time out there. And then over there, that's where the paparazzi go over that fence way down there. And then they look for Charlene. If she's not here, they'll throw a few rolls on me, yeah.

You're off today. Obviously you're you're at your Malibu magical beach house. There's a strike going on. I would be on the set of rules of engagement. So what are you doing now with your days?

I get up, I do 10 crunches in the morning, whether I feel like it or not, just to stay in shape. six pushups, then I start drinking.

What's the difference between doing rules of engagement in front of a live audience and doing stand-up comedy? What do you prefer?

I like the show. The stand-up's just tough. It's it's hard to travel. It's hard to do a solid hour. They they pay a lot now to see it, so I have to do better. I had a girl at SNL that wrote me three times a day. I would just see stacks of letters from her. She's in love with me and this send me pictures and then when I went to just shoot me. She'd come there, she'd call the set. So I started getting nervous and then when Rebecca Romain played my wife, she wrote me, I'm going to kill her cuz you should marry me. So, I had to tell Rebecca and I go, this is a girl. And so I had to secure I'd someone go to where she was and deal with her.

What album songs do you have in your CD player?

No, they're pretty cool. Hanson. Some of them are one hits. I hit it and quit it. John Lennon, but John Denver cancel each other out. Olivia Newton John. God, some of these are gay.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

That this coat is a boy's large. I can skateboard. Okay.
