Welcome to younghollywood. com. Marie here with Young Hollywood and tonight we are talking to the cast of Dancing With The Stars to find out what they have to say about the upcoming season. I am here with Cheryl Burke and also Christian De La Fuente. So what are we gonna see from you guys this season?
Lots of fun, lots of energy and lots of smiles from him.
How's the chemistry so far? It looks pretty good.
He hits me a lot. We have this bickering relationship, but at the end of the day, he listens to me at home and she hates me at work. So it's like, he's abusive. And every time you know, there's a problem, I just talk to Angelica and she straightens him out for me.
Oh, for him. It's nice. Poor for him. Okay? Poor. If you can give some advice to aspiring dancers out there, what could you say to them?
Go out there, try something new, work hard and someone that wants to take dancing seriously, you know, there's always a future. Dancing is not just something that you have to do just for fun. It's something you can take seriously and as a career.
I am here with Jason Taylor and also Edita. Tell us what made you decide to be on the show.
I think it's the challenge of dancing. The opportunity to try to do something I'm not normally comfortable with and I get to dance with Edita, so it's a great gig.
How has he been so far?
He's been great. I mean, he improved a lot since day one and I'm very proud of him. He became, you know, a football player who knows how to dance and that was my goal.
They're two different sports. Do you find dancing a little bit more challenging?
Yes, in a different way. I think as football I'm so used to it and I've been at it for so long but dancing I've been doing it for three weeks now and there's just so much to it that people don't realize and I'm learning the hard way.
Why do you think that there are so many people out there that are so excited to see it every single week?
I think this show appeals to absolutely everyone. I think that's what's so amazing about it. You know, a true story of people who learn how to do something new and a little bit of glamour and that's a great formula.
