couple more. I'm doing good. You're actually killing it. I missed the first one but like In one of the opening scenes, you get hurt. You're lying in a hospital bed. What color is your cast?

Actor Matthew Noszka

What color is my cast? Is it white?

Young Hollywood

Wrong. Yellow?

Actor Matthew Noszka

No.

Young Hollywood

Orange?

Actor Matthew Noszka

No.

Young Hollywood

Green?

Actor Matthew Noszka

Still wrong.

Young Hollywood

Blue?

Actor Matthew Noszka

Yes. So you technically got it.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, I had no idea. I just went through a bunch of colors until I got it. It was blue. I think it was like a dark blue, but it technically also was white. I think the thing that your foot was hanging in was blue. Or it was white and then blue, vice versa. Yeah, I wouldn't have I have no idea. That's tough. Getting hurt like that.

Actor Matthew Noszka

Oh, you're wrong, damn it. That was actually not in the original script. You getting hurt? Yeah. So I But it kind of prefaces the whole movie in the sense that she was just like, I helped you. The original script that I read was positioned differently. Like the way the timeline kind of played out was not how it played out in the film that released. Got you. So basically when I read it, it was um flashbacks of our relationship. So like there were

Young Hollywood

That would have been so interesting.

Actor Matthew Noszka

So it was like different flashbacks of her and that's how we kind of shot it. But I think once they saw the chemistry and the dynamic between like me and and Keana and Ross and Keana, they switched the the roll of it and it started out with our relationship so it built something up to where you could actually kind of like Jack. Yes. And then, hate him. Like him.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, you really didn't like my character, huh? Do you like him? He was fine.

Actor Matthew Noszka

No. Um and uh and I think when they kind of figured all that out, they switched it to where that was like the then plot line. Yeah. And I think it worked out great. Like I really did I I did enjoy um opening the film. I guess you could say. I was excited.

Young Hollywood

If there was a sequel, would you want to have Jack's watcher fight? Cuz technically it's like set up that she's about to do the fighting.

Actor Matthew Noszka

Yeah, I thought it was I thought it was interesting. I mean, at the end of the movie he comes to the the hospital, which was, you know, so sweet of you to do that. Yeah, it was really kind of Jack's. No, I think when you when you look at their relationship, right? They had, you know, a two or three year relationship where they fell in love and they were inseparable and they had this, you know, strong dynamic, but then he cheats on her. And not just with anyone, but with her sister. So, ultimately, he's crushing her soul and it's one of those things where he hurts her emotionally and that I feel he's so desensitized to emotion because of the way he was brought up and the way he was raised that he doesn't really see that as something like torturous. Yeah. But when he physically harms her, I think that's when it really sets in for him to where he was like, I need to change. Like, I need to like find some path of redemption. Yeah. Um so when he comes back, that's why I think it was such a strong scene for me to be able to be like, okay, like do you think that there's a chance for me to be redeemed? Um and that that physical impact of him seeing he almost killed her is what really resonates with him.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. That was intense.

Actor Matthew Noszka

Yeah. That was a lot. I was like, oh, do we I asked them. I was like, do we have to do that? And they're like, yeah, you do. I I the the Manu um Bennett who was basically like mad at the end, he like comes into the ring. They didn't put this in the movie, but we did a couple takes where he just knocks me out. He just punches me after.

Young Hollywood

We love that.

Actor Matthew Noszka

And the one time he just completely didn't have the the depth and he stocked me. But I I moved and it hit my shoulder, but it was a good punch. I had a bruise on my shoulder for a couple weeks. Couple weeks. Yeah, he's a strong guy.

Young Hollywood

You have obviously had a lot of bruises though like throughout the entire traning.

Actor Matthew Noszka

Oh yeah. We were all banged up. Me and Ross definitely took a hit cuz it was not only just demanding physically, but where we were shooting for the first two weeks was an abandoned warehouse that was like a old vodka factory and all the windows were busted out. It was freezing cold. Oh god. The floor was dirt. We're in barefoot or barefoot in just like short shorts the whole time. So. It was it was very demanding physically.
