Hey, what's up guys? Nicole Kotch for Young Hollywood, hanging out with Finn from Stranger Things.
How are you?
Pretty good. How are you?
I'm good. You have a really cool last name by the way.
Thank you.
Wolfhard. Yeah. That's dope.
Yeah.
We want to get to know you a little bit better with this game called Strangest Things About Me. And I'm going to list off some rapid fire style questions and then you just answer them the best you can.
Sure.
All right. Okay, the first one. Strangest guilty pleasure.
I don't like swallow gum or anything, but when I like if there's bubble tape around or like like big league chew, I like take the whole pack and just shove it in my mouth.
Strangest compliment you've ever received.
I got one recently, I was in um, a Whole Foods and someone came up to me and um and was like, "Can I get a picture?" I was like, "Yeah, sure." And um they I guess the front camera they didn't want to do the front camera so they did this with their iPhone and they did it like 15 different times.
Oh my god. And you weren't ready for that. Just like, oh.
But then but then she was like, "You're really cool, but um I wish Millie was here." And then they like walked off.
Oh no. Oh. Uh, strangest phobia that you have. If you have any.
Phobia? Yeah. I like it's not it's not it's not I'm scared of them. I hate bananas.
Okay, let's see. Strangest food you've ever eaten besides bubble gum.
There's candy stores in like Vancouver. You can get like super weird stuff. So there's like You can get worms like Okay. Like real worms, they're like dried out. Um,
Oh like actual worms.
yeah, and you can get like you can get like crickets and stuff too. They taste like pretzels. I was super weird.
Wait, pretzels. That's really weird. That's very strange. Go get yourselves some worms. Okay, yeah. Strangest place you've ever fallen asleep.
Um, uh, on a in a trunk. Fallen asleep in a trunk before.
All right, cool. So, you're here. You're hosting the Sweet Relief uh, benefit. Yeah. And you have a band here. Can you remind me of the name? It's like Calpurnia.
Yes.
Calpurnia. Yes. I knew I was going to get it right. Awesome.
You got it.
Cool. Well, we can actually have them come in for a few minutes. You guys want to join?
My name's Ayla and I play lead guitar in the band.
My name is Jack and I play the bass.
Uh, I'm Malcolm and I play drums.
So, specifically for you guys, why did you want to get involved with this event?
Um, I just wanted to put on like a show. That's all I wanted to do. And then I and then I realized that you could still put on a show you know, which is like with an amazing charity. You know what I mean? Yeah. So it's like it's like a plus one.
There's a lot of amazing people involved in Sweet Relief. Uh, and it's awesome to be able to meet them and talk to them. Uh, and also just to play in front of such an amazing crowd with such amazing people at such an amazing venue. Uh, it's a pretty cool experience.
So what can people expect to see because you guys are performing, right?
Um, yeah. It's it's super cool because we all balance each other's energy out. So Malcolm and I like when we play we're very energetic. And like Malcolm has to be because he's a drummer. And um and like Ayla and and Jack are just like so cool about it. And it just like fuses together and it just fuses together like super I don't know. It's I think it's really good energy.
What instruments do you play specifically, Finn?
Um, I play guitar and bass and I suck at drums and nice. I can fake my way with uh, like a piano or synth or something.
Stranger Things, did it help you um, get used to like '80s music or were you kind of into it beforehand?
I was sort of into it, but then I like the soundtrack is really, really good.
Also, just quick segue. Congratulations on season two.
Thank you.
Do you guys watch Stranger Things?
