In The Voiceover Booth With Kyle Massey

Welcome to younghollywood. com. Welcome to the set of Fish Hooks. That was beautiful. So we have Kyle Massey here. We're on we're kind of very behind the scenes right now. Yeah. This is the sound booth, the official I just saw you do it. I'm a pregnant seahorse. I'm a teacher. I need to I need to understand pregnant though. So yeah, just make make sure that's clear. I'm a pregnant seahorse.

How does it feel to be a fish? Um, being a fish is awesome and really being Milo is probably the coolest thing cuz Milo is probably like the most full of personality cartoon that I've ever seen in my life and he's like so energetic and always looking for an adventure and always up to something. So he's like a lot of fun to play like I find myself walking in here reading the scripts and like laughing out loud like in the middle of me reading it like what am I talking about, you know?

I love your character. So in you have to do this for me cuz I'm kind of obsessed with the the voice. Can you please say hi Tatiyana in Milo's voice?

What's up Tatiyana? How are you doing? This is Milo speaking. Hey, welcome to Young Hollywood. Welcome to Fish Hooks dude.

That was perfect. You've been on the screen and now you're kind of behind the scenes doing the voices. How different is that for you?

It's really different because when you're when you're on camera everything has to do with your body, your posture, your face, everything comes into play. So like a joke is not working, I could you know, do something physically and make people laugh at it. But when you're Milo and you're doing an animated show, no one sees you, no one sees me. They just hear my voice. So it's like I have to essentially act and bring all the personality out of my voice. Whereas on television, you can kind of just hold back and just kind of talk but your facial expressions will make it Right. Funny. But when you're animated it's all voice.

I've actually heard that it's much more difficult to do a voiceover than actually act because you can use your body and you can you know do facial expressions but here it's all your voice.

Yeah, and at the same time like like a lot of people say like, oh you know voice over is fun you just kind of walk in no makeup no hair. But really it kind of balances itself out because when you're acting live on television you have to go through all the hair, makeup, wardrobe. And you have to remember the lines and stuff. But at the same time you get to use physical comedy. But here you don't have to do all the hair and makeup. But you have to really bring your A-game with your voice all the time. Much better. I got you a fancy alarm clock with 88 programmable alarms. Can't be sick, no sore throats. It's just It's not as easy as it looks. Or it doesn't look because you can't see it.

Yeah, as easy as it sounds. If that works. So you have a huge Disney past and current. Um what else I know you also can dance.

I can dance a little bit, you know. I do a little dancing. Yeah. Um I danced the cha-cha on Dancing With the Stars. Um yeah.

You have a you have a mean cha-cha.

You know, I can I can cha. I can I can hit a couple cha's, you know what I'm saying.

So, I'm really excited about the show when does it air?

Fridays 9:00 p. m. on Disney Channel. Fish Hook airs. Tune in guys.

Disney Channel is awesome, man. You know, they have some nice clean wholesome shows that's not talking about partying and fights and stuff so it's kind of like an escape when you watch Disney Channel. It takes you back to like your childhood memories, you know.

I love I used to beg my parents for cable just so I could have Disney. It was like my favorite.

See, I used to like watch Disney all the time when I was little like Kim Possible was my show, man. Oh my God. Kim Possible was the show when I was little. Oh Kim? Her and her naked mole rat, Rufus dude.
