Welcome to Young Hollywood.
Hi, this is Lisa Moore, and we're at the Red party here.
Now, the Red party is thrown by Life Through Art Foundation.
And what they're doing is they're raising money to help kids in all aspects of art.
It's a pretty incredible event.
So, let's go in and check it out.
All right, so this has got to be the infamous, right?
Ally and AJ, who I've had the pleasure of seeing a few times now. Aly & AJ: It's a great charity. Aly & AJ: We're really happy to be here and it's for the kids, so.
Now, you guys are both musicians.
When was the first time you got your first do you have, do you play an instrument or do you just sing? Aly & AJ: Yeah. Aly & AJ: Yeah. Aly & AJ: We um, we've been playing the guitar for about five years and piano since we were six. Aly & AJ: So, love it. Aly & AJ: Piano and guitar is really fun for us. Aly & AJ: It's like a different way to express ourselves. Aly & AJ: Yeah. Aly & AJ: Music is like a huge part in like of our lives, so it's really cool tonight.
What was your first childhood memory of music, like and art? Aly & AJ: I mean, I think I think you know, mainly like painting and drawing and and doing stuff as like a kindergartener and in preschool, that was like my thing. Aly & AJ: I kind of loved art. Aly & AJ: I would say like like our dad would play a lot of music for us when we were younger and our mom, like total education to music, like listening to the Beach Boys and heart when we were younger. Aly & AJ: That was something that's really like stuck with me like throughout like everything. Aly & AJ: Yeah. Aly & AJ: So, it's pretty cool. Aly & AJ: That that's definitely been a big memory. Aly & AJ: Just listening to really good music from a young age. Aly & AJ: Yeah.
So, I think it's important for kids to have some kind of an outlet that it has to deal with, you know, either art classes or, you know, something with arts and crafts or music, something out there that they It's great for kids to to not only learn, but but you know, like all the, you know, you know, science, math, all that great stuff, but also like to learn music.
It's great. Aly & AJ: Yeah. Aly & AJ: It's totally just open. Aly & AJ: It's universal. Aly & AJ: It's universal.
There is nothing without life through art.
And let's give it up for the children.
I want you to be sure that you're going to buy some stuff over there.
I'm making a lot of notes myself.
Oh, you better give it up, and you better dig deep.
Because if you don't dig deep, I'll find out, and then you'll be all eliminated.
