What's up, guys? I am standing with Mr. Wonderful, Mr. from Young Hollywood.
It's so true. It's so true. It's so true. It is so true. Yeah. So, if you're Young Hollywood, you turn into Mr. Wonderful. Hey, everybody. It's wonderful to be on the set of Shark Tank, shooting season 10 Decade of Dreams. We're having so much fun, crazy deals, biggest ever, by the way. More dollars spent on this season so far than ever before.
Can you give us a ballpark of
Well, what's happened this year is instead of the $50,000 deals, everything's 350, 500,000, 650,000, a million dollars, all kinds of crazy amounts. Wow. So, this is a lot of money, but it's because the companies have real sales. So, when you have revenue, you ask for more. And I'm and we'll we'll give you more because it's a real business. And we know who's all about money in the tank. I'm just trying to scratch out a living. That's it. I'm just trying to scratch out a living, you know? That's all. Um, but talking about the fact that it's been 10 years,
Yes. which was pretty amazing. Is there something when you look back on the whole decade, like what stands out to you the most as like your biggest highlight or memory or experience?
In television, nothing gets past 5 to 7 years. Most shows just fade and go away. But Shark Tank has become part of our culture. I mean, it's where people talk about bringing their dream. I'm going to take this to Shark Tank. That's it's just part of it's an iconic platform. And we've made so many businesses successful. We've created so many millionaires and so many jobs and it just every year I just love coming here because I never know what I'm going to get and what I'm going to see. And I don't know, it's just it's become part of the fiber of America. And I think Shark Tank's going to go on forever because we create jobs, we create You know, we are the realist of realist reality shows you could possibly get.
Yeah. This is the American Dream, personified. That's what it is. But I think it's also the fact that you're evolving with the times and you have to kind of be on top of how business and entrepreneurship is changing. And you guys are like on the forefront of that. So is that you think that's part of the reason why it's also relevant?
I think I think it happened in a time. You remember we had a big financial crisis and people realized maybe it's better to start my own company than work for a big one. And that kind of morphed into what Shark Tank became. It's remarkable what's happened. I mean
You didn't have social media when you guys started. And now this is the king of Instagram right here.
No, we didn't. We didn't even have the wheel. It was that long ago.
And then your Instagram stories, by the way. You're you talk about your pen collection quite a lot. Yep. And
There's always a Pen collection. As a matter of fact, I'm featuring something absolutely spectacular. Look at this multicolor designed after the Beatles from 1968. Isn't that beautiful?
That's amazing.
Yeah, it looks terrific on the set. You know, I'm such a fashionista. The other sharks just follow me. You know, they wear beer caps and stuff like that for cufflinks. I've got these remarkable British design. Look at those. Look at that. Look at that. It's gorgeous. Stop the madness. It's the skull. Stop the madness. The skull actually opens. Look at that. The And then, of course, isn't this watch gorgeous? You will not see that on another man's wrist. These are virtually impossible to get. Very rare, man. You know, when you look sharp and you feel good, that's when you turn into Mr. Wonderful. That's true.
Have you ever fallen asleep in your chair on set?
They feed us so much food that literally I I fell asleep. It was one of those times when Kevin was giving a royalty deal, and I knew how it was going to end up. I fell asleep. Never have I ever played a prank on a fellow shark. Sorry. Daily to Kevin. I've taken his book. I hid his pen. I put food under his coat.
