What's going on guys? Hanging with me right now, I have the Lulu Wilson. Lulu. I love your name.

Lulu Wilson

Thank you, thank you. It's actually, the full name is Talullah.

Young Hollywood

Oh.

Lulu Wilson

Which is a little harder to say but Lulu kind of suits me more.

Young Hollywood

I was gonna ask, is it a nickname?

Lulu Wilson

Yeah, it's a nickname but I never, I'm only called Talullah when I'm in trouble so it's like

Young Hollywood

Oh really?

Lulu Wilson

It kinda scares me when I hear it.

Young Hollywood

But it's such a pretty name even like in full length, like Talullah.

Lulu Wilson

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

I feel like it's very, it's very spy-like like Talullah when you hear it, it's like you feel like a secret agent. Right? I like it. Okay, you have a birthday coming up soon, right?

Lulu Wilson

Yes, I do. I'm turning 13. It's really exciting. I'll be an official teenager even though I felt like a teenager since third grade.

Young Hollywood

I was gonna say, you've been like living your life forever now, right? Out of the womb. So, do you have any plans?

Lulu Wilson

Yeah. No, I really wanna eat some fried chicken cuz it's my favorite food so probably go to Gus's World Famous, which is my favorite.

Young Hollywood

What is that? Where is that?

Lulu Wilson

And It's, I don't even know where it is. I kinda like blackout on the way there cuz I just get so excited for fried chicken. Oh, So. I love it. I don't know, but it's so good.

Young Hollywood

Sounds like a good day.

Lulu Wilson

Yeah, just some eating and sleeping. That's what I'm planning on doing.

Young Hollywood

Well, congratulations first and foremost on Haunting of Hill House.

Lulu Wilson

Thank you so much. Oh my god.

Young Hollywood

First of all, like I feel like you just love the scary. Can we Is that fair to say you just

Lulu Wilson

Oh, I do. Yeah, no, I love it. I live for that kind of thing. Like whenever I get scared. I mean, okay, so I've been thinking about this. Okay. I love being scared in a movie theater but I get really freaked out when somebody actually scares me. And so I don't know what the big difference is. I think it's just because having the person who's scaring you, like dressed up in a room with you, is just it's too real. Yeah. But seeing it on the screen it's like, yeah, it seems pretty realistic, but it's not as bad. It's not as not as scarring as somebody coming up behind you and saying boo.

Young Hollywood

Right. So like on set and stuff, do you get scared? Like in scenes like do you guys have like weird things happening? Like I've,

Lulu Wilson

I wish a weird thing happened on set. Like I've always wanted that to happen cuz Oh, yeah. that's when I'm, it makes me a little excited. But not not usually because I know what's gonna happen. I'm not super surprised all the time which is good.

Young Hollywood

I love that. I feel like I'm gonna like binge it and just like have nightmares and stuff.

Lulu Wilson

Yeah, I'm gonna do that too. Yeah, no, it is. I love it. I love binging um, TV shows like Stranger Things. I've binged it like twice. So

Young Hollywood

Twice.

Lulu Wilson

Yes, twice.

Young Hollywood

Wow, that's heavy stuff. I like to watch, I watch Parks and Rec seven times, all of it, seven times.

Lulu Wilson

Whoa.

Young Hollywood

I'm not even kidding. It was crazy. But yeah, I think that's the goal. That's amazing. Yeah. And also I wanna congratulate you on Sharp Objects with Amy Adams.

Lulu Wilson

Yes, thank you. Oh my gosh, she is the best. She is so normal. And when I met her, I thought she was just gonna be I don't know. Whenever I meet a celebrity, it really scares me so I was kinda freaking out. And she was, she could kinda tell I was freaking out, I think. And so she just really um puts me special on that set. She made everything just really happy and she was just a great, a great spirit to be on that set.

Young Hollywood

She is pretty magical, huh?

Lulu Wilson

Yeah, she is. She, she really is.

Young Hollywood

Has she given you like any advice on like acting or just being in this world? I feel like just watching her, it like tells a story and it whenever I, when I watch the whole series, I just, I learned so much. I took a lot of what she was doing and put it kinda in my own acting style. You've always you are a hard-working girl. Yup. But when you're not working, what do you like to do?

Lulu Wilson

Oh, I love to play my ukulele. I love I love it.

Young Hollywood

Do you? Oh, I love it. Wait, we have one.

Lulu Wilson

So much. It's the best.

Young Hollywood

Not to be. Hey, I'm gonna give this to you and I'm gonna put you on the spot. Is this a ukulele?

Lulu Wilson

No, this is not a ukulele. It doesn't have four strings. This has six strings. This is a fake ukulele and I'm here to call it out.

Young Hollywood

Oh no. We are being called out in the Hollywoo couch right now. This is like a guitar-lele. Oh my god, look! It's a real one. Oh, wow. Look at that. Look at that. Yes. So we're not totally losers.

Lulu Wilson

No, no, no, no, no, no. You're. Well, I'll take this one. You're Yes. I love playing it. It just immediately calms me down.

Young Hollywood

Can you make a Young Hollywood song?

Lulu Wilson

Oh my god, yes. Okay. Tun, tun, tun, here we go. It's pretty happy in here. So like I like that.

Young Hollywood

Me too.

Lulu Wilson

There's a lot of blue in this room. It's very happy, that's why I'm singing this tune. Oh, I rhymed. There's a record player and a lot of cool stuff. I really just wanna touch it all because kinda looks like a museum. Kinda cool. There's the beach in the background.

Young Hollywood

Good eye. Good eye.

Lulu Wilson

And it's quiet. It's not making a sound. There's a hat, it looks pretty old.

Young Hollywood

Girl, you're roasting us in this office.

Lulu Wilson

And this room is kinda warm, not cold. Yay!

Young Hollywood

Let's get some claps in the Young Hollywood studio. Amazing. That's it's a bop. Lulu, wow, you are amazing. Thank you so much for coming by. Everyone, go catch her in Haunting of Hill House and everything else that she's in. All the scary things.
