What up, Young Hollywood? Ruby Wilson here. I am crashing the set of Disney's newest series Just Roll With It. What's up, you guys? How are you?

Guest

Yeah. Yeah. I'm amazing. How are you guys?

Young Hollywood

We're great. I love how you guys are just chilling like OG professionals. Like, yo, we we've been doing this forever. I love it. So you know we have to talk about the show Just Roll With It. Fill me in and fill everybody else in.

Guest

Right. Just Roll With It is a one-of-its-kind series. It blends uh improv with uh a comedy. So we call it like it's a improvisational hybrid. Throughout the show, three horns will go off. And you guys, the audience, they you get to choose what happens to us. What? And uh we improv throughout those hilarious, crazy scenarios that goes on.

Young Hollywood

So you guys actually improv?

Guest

Yeah, yeah, actually. You you don't know what's going on. You don't know what the audience voted for or any of that. No.

Young Hollywood

Are you guys telling me the truth?

Guest

Yeah, we get. Yeah. So this is our radio station. We're Byron, my stepdad, his dad, basically DJ's a bunch of shows here. Okay. With his little sidekick, Gator. We have his cardboard cut out in the back. Fun fact, when we're rehearsing every episode, we play a lot of games with this guy. Yes. We play Monkey in the Middle. We play like four squares. Basketball. Second guest: Yeah, we play.

Young Hollywood

I don't know any of those games. No. No. Are you serious? Four squares?

Guest

I'm sorry. We don't have time to teach you. Second guest: Yeah, we don't have time.

Guest

I play the DJ, um, right here on Disney's Just Roll With It. I'm actually kinda here more for the audience. I really keep the audience hyped up and ready to vote on whatever happens. They're a huge part of the show. Yes. The audience makes it 20 times more fun because we have real life people in the audience voting on what's happening. I mean, really there's never been a show like this. I'm sure. Yes, I know. So it's very, very fun and yeah. Oh, here, we get to I'm gonna show you guys. This is the these are what the audience votes with. The actual The actual things. They're they're on right now. The lady just turned them on. Um, but yeah, it's very, very awesome. Sometimes The

Young Hollywood

That's gnarly.

Guest

Sometimes they go really in depth. Um, you get to like you get to like

Young Hollywood

What do you mean?

Guest

there sometimes there's 10 options. I mean, it it can go all over the place. Sometimes you have to pick one, zero. Like you have to do all It's it's very interesting. You have to just watch. I'm very excited for everyone to see.

Young Hollywood

I'm I'm sure. I'm a little triggered right now. Yes. A little triggered, but we're we're gonna be okay.

Guest

This we use all the time during rehearsal. We like stick our Come on. Oh. These are so warm.

Young Hollywood

You know what that is. I know what this is, but I do not know four square. Do not judge me, okay? No. Okay. All right. So don't judge him. Second guest: During rehearsal or in between takes when we're filming, we'll use these little things and just play with them and make beats for each other and rap. I said we crash in this set with these homies every single day. We like you are phoney. Drop the beat. Get it in the street every single day on the remix. Oh.

Young Hollywood

Fil me in on you guys's characters on the show.

Guest

We're a married couple. And like it's new. It's like a year in, yeah. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

What? Newlyweds.

Guest

Yeah. Is that considered newly weds? Yeah, I think so. Yeah. So we're figuring out our new life together with two kids from previous marriages. Yeah. So we got this whole like, you know, crazy family dynamic we're figuring out. My character, Rachel, is like a very by the books. She's like former military.

Young Hollywood

Previous marriages. I can kinda see that with you just like talking. You know?

Guest

Yeah. I play a radio DJ and she is the uh owner, the producer of the the entire station that we have. And we have our blended family and we're like uh it's it's super relatable, I feel to what it's a great reflection of what the world is right now. Um, and we're and we have this show Just Roll With It where we're figuring out how to make our lives roll with it. Absolutely. Second guest: Blair, Owen's stepsister, she can be a little rebellious. She's definitely adventurous. At the end of the day, she always sticks with her stepbrother. Owen, he's a he's very by the books. Uh, he respects everyone. He he can get like overwhelming sometimes.

Guest

I love her. Second guest: Like he goes off on these crazy rants and talks about things that'll probably never happen.

Young Hollywood

Like what? Second guest: Like uh it it can start from the smallest of things, like going on the radio because Byron, which is my dad, he's a radio personality in uh the first episode he asked me to go on the radio and I I lose it, you know? Uh-uh. Yeah. Yeah. And then and then Blair's like, you know what? I'll do it. I'll do it. He's like, let's go. Let's go.

Young Hollywood

I love it. She's the the free spirit of them. I love it. Second guest: Yes. Yeah, she's a totally free spirit.

Guest

This is our radio station office. Yeah, this is where uh my uh your mom on the show, my stepmom on the show, this is where she works. She mans the radio station. She makes sure uh everything's going good and smooth with the radio station. Yes. This is fun. Get it. What, what, what, what. We can show you Beats 101, which is the radio station's name. Yeah. I guess so. The Beats. Then you have the clean shot. The 101. Yeah, exactly.

Young Hollywood

Hey. If you could, hint to like the craziest thing that you guys had to eat on set.

Guest

They mix a lot of things that you wouldn't eat, but are healthy for you. And like I had to eat a burrito full with um ice cream, gummy worms.

Young Hollywood

That sounds really bomb. That doesn't sound disgusting at all.

Guest

No, no. I can give you a good one. It had sardines in it.

Young Hollywood

Okay, never mind. I'm not a fan. I literally I literally just threw up in my brain.

Guest

It had a snail smoothie.

Young Hollywood

Who? A snail smoothie. What? Are you kidding me?

Guest

A snail smoothie. Yes. Apple flavored snail smoothie.

Young Hollywood

No, thank you. I want no part of that. What is like the craziest thing you've seen the audience pick cast members to do?

Guest

Okay. Um, really it can go from A to Z, literally anything. Um, but it can go from like the whole cast being doused in paint. Um, chocolate. Uh, they could be in like a enclosed space for a little bit and like things popping out in there. Um, someone could like redo their hair. I mean, I don't wanna give away too much, but it's it's crazy. It's crazy.

Young Hollywood

This is crazy. So I think we gotta go. I guess our show's over. Our show's over. See you guys later.
