Do you love the '90s? Cuz I do too. And what's super exciting, we're getting a set tour of Sydney to the Max, which will have some lot of flashbacks to the '90s. Let's go check it out.
What's up, guys? I have Jackson Dollinger and Christian Simon on set of Sydney to the Max. Which room is this, ladies?
This is the present living room.
Ooh. The present living room. Yes. Yes. I love this. So, I have Ruth Riggie and I also have Ava Kolker right here. They are playing best friends on Sydney to the Max. I love that you guys already have your twin looks, everything. Okay. And I think we're in my favorite room already. Ooh. Right?
Yeah. I mean, come on, how can you not love this? Second guest: Yeah, we'll definitely spend a lot of time here.
Yes. So, this is the, I'm guessing the arcade, hence the massive sign over there on the wall. Right.
Exactly.
Okay, cool. So, I have a very serious question for both of you. Okay. What do you have? Have you ever had waffles with syrup and peanut butter?
Ooh. I've had it just with regular syrup, but no peanut butter. Second guest: I've never had it. No peanut butter. But I am upset at myself for not having it with peanut butter.
Yes. That sounds so good. Do you guys have a friendship bracelet yet? I'm just saying.
I got Well Kind of. We got like these little friendship bracelets like a long time back. They were these little just like cute little bracelets. But not like real serious ones. Second guest: Yeah, we're gonna have to go out and buy some right now.
Yeah. Second guest: We will.
Cuz that's gonna be what's gonna happen. That's us leaving and buying friendship bracelets. Yes. Thank you so much. Have a great day. And we're out. Amazing. So, now we are in another amazing room here. Max. My bedroom. Yes. Super cool. I love the bedspread. I'm not gonna lie, it actually reminds me of my brother's bedspread from when I was little. Which was the '90s. Sorry. Young Max is a little bit of a slob, as you can see. That's okay. We forgive him. Yeah. He has a bunch of skateboarding decor, since that's the '90s. Now the question is, where are your school books? Uh-oh. So, the boys had me bust out a dance move.
Oh. You gotta show us now that you said that.
Oh, I have to show you the dance. I was gonna have you show me a new dance move. No. We gotta We gotta show you. So awesome that you would bust out a dance move right now for me if I do it too.
Oh, yeah, right here. Okay. This is happening.
Yes, it's happening. Okay. Ready? Hey. What? I can't do that. Yeah. What is that? That's like the Funky Chicken, man. Oh.
Funky Chicken. Second guest: Funky Chicken.
Yes. I love it. So, new dance moves, like the new trendy ones. Yes. Okay. This is a new one. Oh, there's the one that's like this one, the Milli Rock. I think that's what it's called. Right? It's like, whoosh.
Yeah. Whoosh.
Yes. Whoosh. There we go. Yes. The face is like angry.
Yeah, you gotta be like Second guest: What kind of face we making?
Like you tasted something bad but like, boom. They can be like really mad at somebody and you're like, Oh, yeah, you see this? Watch it.
I think this is how I'm gonna wake up now.
Yeah. Do it.
It's official. I'm gonna do it. And then, what was the other one? The other one was the there's this subtle dance that sometimes we do when we're bored. We just go like this. Really soft and simple. Do you guys remember this one?
Oh, yeah. And you make a face with that one too. Second guest: Yeah. It's like, yeah. You know it.
Yeah, I'm doing that. So, now that we are in our favorite room in the entire set for both of you guys, how about we discover a few things about it? Okay. Go on a tour. Okay. Starting over here. Is that a dog over there?
We were trying to figure out what it is. We figured out that it was like a light. Cuz there's like an on button. Whoa. But then we pressed it and it's like it's not even a button. It's just like a wooden thing. So, the power does nothing. So, we're confused.
Now, they had VHS and camcorders in the '90s. Yes. Have you guys actually ever used one?
No, I haven't. But I have a whole collection right here. That.
So, do you think you're gonna try and learn?
Yeah. Sure. Why not? I'm down.
Why not pick up the hobby? Right?
Yeah. Well, Axl actually does have a camcorder, so that's pretty cool.
Yeah. Yeah. So, so, you're gonna start using it for real then?
Yeah. Yeah. I guess so. I guess so. I like it. This is gonna happen. Looks pretty complicated. Nowadays we just hit a button. I never opened one of these drawers. Oh, wait. They actually put stuff in it. There's stuff in there. What is this? Photo glitter globe. Oh, it means you put a picture. What a picture. I had one of these. That's awesome. You should put You should I was just gonna say you guys need to ask if you could put a picture of you two in there.
Oh yeah. Yes. Absolutely.
We also have her desk where she does her homework. Ooh. We have her You're getting a lot of work done. I really like that can. Uh-oh. Oh. We can't. Dog's going down. Dogs going down. It's okay. Okay, I made you do that on camera. We will get back to that. Safety first here. Absolutely. Ruth and Ava, can you guys tell me a little bit about your characters, Sydney and Olive, who are best friends?
Yes. Sydney is a very outgoing girl. She is really strong and passionate about what she believes in. She really pursues her dreams, which I think is amazing. And she's also very strong-willed. I like that. Second guest: Olive is a fun, quirky, Sydney's best friend. And, um, she has four brothers at home. So, you almost never see her in her house. She is always with or at Sydney's. And she is just a a little like She's a geek. She loves math and llamas and crafts.
Sounds like best friends made in heaven.
Yes. For sure. She just They love each other a lot and they do a lot together. And it's really inspirational for our real-life relationship.
Oh, here's a cute picture of you guys. This is from the pilot.
They needed photos for around the room so we just ran around the set and started taking photos.
Oh, I love that. This is in the school. School hallway. Friendship bracelet hanging on there later. Yes. Have you guys prepared your Emmy speeches yet?
Oh. I'd like to thank my mom and my dad and my whole family. Thank you. Second guest: I would like to thank my mom, my dad, my grandparents. You know, just my whole family for being there. So, so emotional. Um, I just want to thank everybody.
Well, I'm super excited that we got to see your bedroom as well. And people will be seeing lots more of it on Sydney to the Max. Thanks again, guys.
