Yeah, well I figured, right?

You would hope. I would hope.

You know what's funny? She has on a Shining t-shirt, and that is collectively all of our favorite movies.

Is it really?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I always made a joke. I was like, everyone's gonna think we collaborated and we're like, what's our favorite horror movie? One, two, three, The Shining. What it really is, yeah.

That's so fun. And you found that out after you guys met and got to know each other?

Yes.

Yeah.

So fun. Well, Annabelle Comes Home is the third one. How does this film compare to the other two? What's different? What's more exciting?

I think that it's very different in a way that it has a lot more ghosts and if you're a big fan of the other Annabelle and Conjuring movies, like me, then you'll know that like there's so many artifacts in the artifact room and so it kind of dives into there and shows a lot of the stories behind some of the artifacts. So that's really fun.

Yeah. The first time my character went into the artifact room she's supposed to be just wowed and floored by everything and it was so easy to do because I am. I was. And but it's so cool to see all those different things that we all wondered what they were like come to life and the different spirits and stuff. And also there's a lot of comedy and horror mixed in so it's kind of in homage to the whole um 80s horror films as well. So I like that film.

Yeah. It's a roller coaster.

Yeah. I know. I mean it's like it always starts one way and like you go up, up, up, up, up, up, up and then it goes like down really fast.

Prepare to have fun.

Yeah, there's some really fun characters.

Peeing your pants.

There are some really fun characters that I think you'll love.

Did weird things happen to you on set? I know that's like such a common question but I'm dying to know because I love that stuff.

We had a scene where we were having to creep down the hallway. Um, I don't think it ended up being in the movie ultimately but

Well it was, I think it was, if I I might be wrong, but it was like we we'd finish a take and we'd like walk upstairs at the end of the take. So we're like all by ourselves upstairs, not with the camera crew.

Oh.

Yeah.

Yes.

Yeah. So cause that's what made it even scarier. And Annabelle is in the room. So this is different.

Oh.

Just kidding. Okay. There's so many. We were we were walking down the hallway really slowly. We were like creeping down the hallway and I I was walking and I heard like these three knocks at this one point but I was like it's probably just like a floorboard or something. I tried not to think too much about it because I didn't know if you had heard it. And then we walked back down again after the scene and it happened again. I was like, are you hearing this?

Yes. It happened like three times didn't it? It was really weird.

Yeah.

Cool. Demons knock in threes, guys.

Demons knock in threes.

Is that a thing?

It is. It is. It is. Anything that's in threes.

Yep.

Yes. Then we opened the door and Annabelle was sitting in a rocking chair in the room. That was terrifying.

Yeah.

Oh my God.

No. Annabelle was sitting inside of a rocking chair in the room which we heard the knocks coming from.

Yeah, that's right. And then they were like, okay guys, we gotta go. And we're like, okay.

There was one time where I would walk past the room. I walked past once Annabelle was sitting in the rocking chair. The next take I walked back up, she was sitting on the bed.

Stop.

And then I walked back up after the other take and she was sitting back in the rocking chair.

Okay. The producer's doing this to like.

I know. They don't tell us.

No. I swear to God. None of us saw them do it.

No, and it was so fast. It was very cleverly done.

Movie magic. I don't know. But yeah, there was that day that she was moving around.

Then there was the the cross.

Yeah. But then again, I don't trust Mr. Gary so.

No, we can't trust Mr. Gary.

With the cross. What happened with the cross?

So, we come in this. I'm like, I just jumped straight to this. Am I like, are they messing with me?

No, no, no. This actually happens. This is weird.

Madison slammed the artifact room.

It's always me. And it's always Madison that's like instigating. So we we slam the artifact room, we're like running out and as we're slamming it the door

The cross.

The the door. Yes. There's a cross with a half Jesus on it. On the wall to protect. So Jesus

And Jesus literally goes flying off.

The cross.

Jesus just

Jesus, not the cross. Just Jesus. So, it's like it's just like it's just.

I'm concerned that you guys are like laughing and living normally after seeing all of these things. Like, how are you guys not scared just all the time now?

If we wouldn't be able to make the movie.

No. I mean there were times where like we'd be I don't know about you guys but I would be studying lines for the next day and not be able to sleep because I'm it's just hard.

Oh yeah. Mr. And the set was terrifying. Mr. Scary. Mr. Gary scared me so bad. He made me believe that I was abducted by aliens. He's a really mean person.

Really?

No. I yeah, I made my mom sleep with me for the remainder of the shoot. It was really mean. He's mean. I don't trust him at all anymore. There's a lot that happens.

Well my next question is going to be do you believe in ghosts or that things can be possessed? I feel like the answer is yes for most of you, right?

Depends on the day and hour.

Yes.

I'm like, okay, so Friday's at 3 a. m.

Friday's at 3 a. m. Yes.

Okay.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's so scary.

Exactly right. 3, 3:13. No. Um

But at 3:15 is the that's the time.

Is that the hour?

3:15. That's when I'm always

Isn't that in the first Conjuring that was 3:15?

something like that. It was three something. 3:16. I could be lying.

What about 3:33? That would be crazy. I feel like

Is it 3 a. m. the witching hour? That's what I heard. That's what I heard. So.

Nothing good happens at 3 a. m.

Well that's when I heard a loud bang.

Oh, what?

Oh, yes. That's another story. Sorry. I'm like we're going over everything. I love it. There was a loud bang. It was like 3:50. It sounded like a 50 pound ball just dropped in my living room. This was the night right before I found out I booked it. Some other stuff happened with a candle. It's weird. And like I hear this bang and I said, don't do what the character does in the movie. Don't go investigate. Don't. Just stay in bed and you can go find out in the morning. There was nothing that fell but it was so incredibly loud. It woke my boyfriend up. I have no idea what it was to this day. But um, I don't even know how I got on that topic. Sorry.

Maybe it was a spirit just being like, hey, something's coming. You're going to book something.

Yeah. Or Annabelle being like, haha. Here she comes.

Yep. Yeah. That's good. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome to the Conjuring Universe. There you go.

Do you guys think that it's going to just like follow you now since you've been in films? Weird things are going to.

Annabelle or just creepy things in general?

I mean, either one I guess.

Um

We are creepy things. I'm I'm very turned off to it. Like if anything weird is happening, I'm like, nope. Nope. It's not happening. So yeah, I don't allow it in my bubble.

I do. That's amazing. I'm like the complete opposite. That I and I like to believe in I like to believe in that stuff. I like to search out proof. I mean, I I feel like I'm very similar to my character in that way that I I just am fascinated with the supernatural and stuff. So yeah, I I like to believe it and sometimes weird inexplicable things happen.

This is where I'm sitting in the middle because I I I don't like it but I do like it.

Yeah. It's a good median.

Yes.
