The director of Exorcism of Emily Rose, Mr. Scott Derrickson. as great a person as she is an actress. I love her and I'm very proud to present this award to Jennifer Carpenter. I think a lot of us out here feel like acting is something that chooses us and just because it chooses us, it doesn't necessarily mean that we're going to get to do it. We need people like um our friends to champion for us and people to write great films and give us the reward of the role, which is what I feel like I've received and um this is just uh this is just a cherry on top.
