What's up, guys? Young Hollywood back on the orange carpet at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports Awards. Kids' Choice Sports Awards. There's a category called Don't Try This At Home. Okay. Did you back in the day try something at home that you should have listened to the advice and not tried it at home?
I filled up the pool, but it was like, the thing wasn't in right and it leaked all over the entire backyard when I tried to fill it up and so we ended up like, yeah, flooding the backyard. It was terrible.
Too many things. Um, I've had a baby alligator come over. I've had a baby kangaroo come over. I've had twin babies come over. I've had, I've had, I've had a horse come over. Just things that you don't typically do at home.
Jumping and doing flips on the bed and then the bed end up breaking and then I get end up getting in trouble when my mom and my dad were repeatedly telling me not to do it, so.
Try to jump from one, the upstairs to downstairs and land on the couch on top of your brother with a flying elbow. Second guest: Move the coffee table first.
Which you didn't do. Second guest: Did not do it. Didn't think about it. Not until afterwards when we should have thought about it.
I jumped off my roof once. Uh, I opened up one of those big like lawn trash bags and I thought it would be a good parachute. It didn't work. I was so popular at the ER. I don't think you understand. Like every doctor knew me by name. Like every staff member knew me by name because I always came in and I needed stitches on my arm or on my face or on my nose like my eyeball popped out like, I don't know, like all of these things. I was a really good kid, I must say, but I've taken chances in my grown-up life. For instance, I've been in uh, Indianapolis and been in the two-seater going around the track. I like taking chances, but as a kid, I didn't do it so maybe that's why I'm doing it as an adult.
We used to do back then in a wrestling. We used to do uh, all the wrestling moves on my little brother all the time. My mom she used to go crazy, so that was always fun.
Well, when I was younger, I definitely would wrestle with my cousins, you know, WWE.
Mark, life is really, really good for you right now.
Yeah, I have no complaints. We're back doing Double Dare. We just shot 40 new episodes and uh, who would have thought, right?
You got swag right now.
A little bit with my daughter. I got a little bit. It was her idea to dress the same and she's nine. So I figured in like two more years, she won't want to dress like me.
Anyone walking the orange carpet that you haven't met yet that you are dying to just shake their hand and say, I need to know how you do it.
Yeah, I want to hang out with Chris Paul.
Big star on the orange carpet. You know an average weekday. Second guest: Yeah, it's just an average. Definitely not average for me. Super fun to be here, though.
What is it about sports and entertainment that just really go well together?
Um, I think that I think a lot of times a lot of the entertainers want to play sports and the sports people want to be entertainers. So the mixture of it's always a little fun and now everybody knows each other so it's always good good to see each other.
You're great. I mean, you were only on the world's biggest stage. You should be pros at an orange carpet, right?
Well, the orange is a little different for us, but Yeah, visually, it just creates a little bit of a different dynamic, but this is just a lot of fun. We're really excited to be here today.
Nick Kids' Choice Sports, the kids are running the show. Uh, it's supposedly going to get messy.
Yeah, for sure. Something about green slime. If someone gets slimed, I nominate him between the two of us, but okay.
Because it's a category, favorite athlete. Who are your favorite athletes?
My go-to Floyd Mayweather.
Floyd Mayweather, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, obviously.
Ooh, my favorite athlete. Um, probably oh gosh, probably Shaq. I definitely would say Mia Hamm with me growing up was like everything. So, Mia Hamm is the reason why I started playing sports anyway and um, she was somebody I really looked up to growing up.
Russell Westbrook, OKC Thunder. I'm from Oklahoma, so it would be mean if I didn't, right?
Favorite athlete, Kevin Durant, LeBron, Floyd Mayweather, Messi, Ronaldo, just the the spirit they play with, the passion they play with the game. I mean, it's kind of inspiring so, I really look up to a lot of those guys.
I was a Kobe Bryant guy. I was uh, you know, uh back in the day, uh Kareem Abdul-Jabbar guy. And you know, I'm going to point to two people who I think may be my two favorite athletes, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.
Obviously, Serena Williams probably tops the list. Roger Federer is also I'm big tennis fan so like most of my favorite athletes are in tennis um and then my next favorite's probably in my own sport in ski racing.
My favorite athlete is Serena Williams.
James Harden, Jose Altuve.
Yes. Chris Paul. Gotta, you know, Chris Paul, I love him. That's an easy answer.
Maya, she's she's my favorite athlete. Easy answer. I mean, that's the suck up answer.
Anyone you want to meet on this orange carpet?
Danica Patrick. Lauren's is right next. Yeah, so I'm kind of freaking out.
You have an idea. Show him some of those wrestling moves.
Yes. Perfect. Let's do it.
