Young Hollywood

Now, I notice you have a little scruff going. Let's talk about the playoff beards out on the ice. I cannot do the beard thing. I'm sorry. I'm 43 and I'm still have patches all over the place. I feel like I'm going through puberty now. No.

Leslie Robbins

What's up, guys? Leslie Robbins here. Young Hollywood is inside the Staples Center with the LA Kings. It is the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals and it does not get any hotter than this.

Guest

We're almost there. Wow, we're close. Yeah, it looks good. I mean, you know, everyone's quick right now. We are almost there. Uh, very nerve racking. I'm like giddy as a school girl right now. The Kings won. It's great for the game that LA's doing this well. This year, they've been incredible. So this feels pretty incredible. I'm just excited to be here as a fan. The whole town, we're so excited because we're not used to this. There's no way I wouldn't be here. It's been a pretty miraculous run for us. We need cups. It's the start of a dynasty right here today. I was just having a ball and we're going to see what's what. Peace.

Young Hollywood

Young Hollywood has unbelievable access here at the Staples Center. The LA Kings are behind me right now warming up, playing soccer and we just witnessed the New Jersey Devils doing the same thing. Now, I notice you have a little scruff going. Let's talk about the playoff beard out on the ice. I cannot do the beard thing. I'm sorry. I'm 43 and I'm still have patches all over the place. I feel like I'm going through puberty now. No.

It's genetic. I uh try and comb it out once in a while. Yeah, I commend them because as soon as if I got past the first round, I I wouldn't be able to get too itchy. And it's definitely itchy and it's growing in my mouth a little bit and I can taste it with my food but uh it's part of the fun of growing it and uh the longer you grow it, obviously, you keep winning and the better it gets. It's been a long run. It's been uh a couple months. So hopefully I can uh grow a little bit. It's definitely not the best on the team, but I don't think it's the worst either. So I I'm doing what I can. Uh I don't know, my mom hates it, I think. So,

Young Hollywood

So how do you go into game four not over confident?

Guest

Um the old cliche, you got to take it one game at a time and uh we've put ourselves in a good position, but um can't be satisfied with it. I think we the fourth one's the hardest to get. So we got to regroup and uh make it our best game. We have to do the same things we've been doing to get to this point. It's going to be tough.
