What's up, guys? Leslie Robbins here for Young Hollywood. Hot off her record-breaking Olympic performance, Simone Biles is taking her tumbling on the road. Welcome to the Gold Over America tour. Miss Simone Biles, the last time you and I saw each other, I don't know if you remember, Dancing with the Stars rehearsal, 2017. A long time ago. It was a long time ago, many moons ago. We were doing some dance moves. Uh, you've come a long way since, madam. Yes. I mean, let's see. Weddings, a few more medals. So let's talk about the recent medals, coming off of Paris. What's the takeaway now?

Simone Biles

Obviously, yeah, we brought home some hardware, but it's really the lessons that we learned and the bounce back that we had from Tokyo was truly inspiring, not just for us as athletes and to give us that confidence, but I think it um shared a lesson with our audience that it's okay to not be okay and you can still go and do big and great things afterwards um and so there's power in being vulnerable and I think that's really exciting.

Young Hollywood

And you're taking your talents on the road now. The Goat Tour. The Goat is here, the literal Goat. You're the Goat. The Goat is here. Yes. And so when you're meeting the fans out in the world, what kind of message do you want to bring to them?

Simone Biles

Oh my god, we've had so much fun curating this tour and putting together a storyline that resonates with our audience, but really it's just about having fun, sharing the love and the passion we have for this sport with the audience, and also coming out here and having representation. I think every little kid out there in the crowd can look at any of us on the stage and be like, mom, I look like her, I want to do what she does, or mom, I look like him, I want to do what he does, and I think that's really perfect. Um but our sport has evolved so much. So we're really lucky and blessed to be able to do what we're doing.

Young Hollywood

And we're in LA, which is uh coming up in 2028. Yes. So people are probably asking you all about that. Are you coming back in four years?

Simone Biles

I mean, it's such a tough question. It's like I I can never get a break. It's we win at the Olympics and then it's like, what's next, what's next? Right now is what's next. It's living in the moment, taking in um everything day by day and just doing this celebration tour with the cast and the audience.

Young Hollywood

Okay, last time that you and I spoke, you had said you had only been on one proper date in your whole life. Now, is it true, you haven't been on a proper date, you went on one in your life?

Simone Biles

Yes, yeah. We don't have anything better.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, now I'm married. And now you're married. I'm honest, like honestly, like in a non-candid way, I'm so proud of you.

Simone Biles

Thank you, I appreciate that.

Young Hollywood

I mean, and you've gotten some tattoos to commemorate this love.

Simone Biles

Yes. I don't know if you'll be able to see it because it's like a micro tattoo. It's a little J, but yeah, a couple of us got tattoos um a couple days ago. So.

Young Hollywood

Was that planned or?

Simone Biles

Well, we were going to bring a tattoo artist out, but this one was mainly a surprise for my husband and he really loved. He actually has a big S on his ring finger so when he's not wearing his ring plane, I'm still there with him.

Young Hollywood

And you have one more, right?

Simone Biles

Yes, I do have another. I actually have a couple of small tattoos. Um but yes, this one says made in heaven behind my neck and I'm sure you'll see that in the show tonight.

Young Hollywood

Okay, where are all the medals?

Simone Biles

Always in a safe. Yeah.
