Welcome to Young Hollywood.

Young Hollywood

Hey guys, it's Michelle Marie with Young Hollywood and Yahoo Sports.

Young Hollywood

I'm here with the one and only Sean Payton.

Young Hollywood

Congratulations.

Young Hollywood

I have to say, I'm gonna just just shake your hand right now.

Sean Payton

You're welcome.

Young Hollywood

And I have to say I need to see the ring.

Young Hollywood

Let's do this.

Young Hollywood

Let's put it on your hand here a second.

Young Hollywood

Oh my God, I'm.

Young Hollywood

Little bling bling.

Young Hollywood

Little bling right here.

Young Hollywood

This is kind of a big deal.

Young Hollywood

I mean like this is pretty special.

Young Hollywood

I'm wearing a Super Bowl ring on my finger.

Sean Payton

I know.

Young Hollywood

Can I wear it during the interview?

Sean Payton

Uh just five minutes.

Young Hollywood

I'm gonna hold it like this.

Young Hollywood

So, for five minutes we're gonna talk like this and we're

Sean Payton

She's got it.

Young Hollywood

I have to give you back the ring because I'm like I don't want to.

Young Hollywood

I don't even I don't even know what to do with myself right now because for real like it says Payton on this side.

Young Hollywood

Can you maybe explain how it all works?

Sean Payton

Yeah, there's a couple of things in here.

Sean Payton

Um The players did a great job of helping and really putting the design together.

Sean Payton

There's 44 uh diamonds on the outskirts which represents Super Bowl 44.

Sean Payton

And then there's a row of eight and eight 16 which represents 16 wins.

Sean Payton

And then the Fleur de Lys was kind of simple in the middle and we tried to keep it simple and this is where it's going to get really hard so your cameraman's gonna have to be awesome but you have a Superdome shot there, little float with the Lombardi Trophy.

Sean Payton

Your name on it and then the cathedral with some music notes representing the city of New Orleans.

Young Hollywood

Oh my gosh.

Sean Payton

And on the other side we've got basically the event time date, Super Bowl logo and the final score.

Young Hollywood

It was good.

Young Hollywood

It was it was so great because we were out at Super Bowl covering all the events and we went in the streets and the fans, the New Orleans fans are insane.

Young Hollywood

I mean I was getting crowded around the Who Dat chant the whole weekend.

Young Hollywood

You guys have so much support.

Sean Payton

That's great.

Sean Payton

That's the one thing that's really unique with our team.

Sean Payton

That whole Gulf Coast uh has really really done a great job of pulling together, obviously through some tough times and rebounding and giving us the motivation.

Young Hollywood

How has your life totally changed, you know, becoming a winning Super Bowl coach?

Sean Payton

When you get to that stage and have success I think that it helps um certainly it helps validate what you're trying to do as a team and as an organization and certainly personally it changes your life from a demand standpoint.

Sean Payton

Um, but you handle it with like with anything else trying to be very humble and and handle it with balance.

Young Hollywood

What do you guys have to do to repeat next year?

Young Hollywood

Are there any certain things that you think you can do to maybe improve?

Sean Payton

I I think this, we we have to get some more of these diamonds.

Sean Payton

A couple of these sport coats right here.

Sean Payton

All right.

Sean Payton

Good interviews like this and I think we're on our way.

Young Hollywood

All right.

Young Hollywood

You're looking good with the ring.

Young Hollywood

Show the ring.

Young Hollywood

I gotta see that thing.

Pierre Thomas
