Young Hollywood

Welcome to Young Hollywood.

Adam Ray

Hey Young Hollywood, Adam Ray, here with Brandon Malali. Um, dude, you uh, you just participated in the NFL players premiere league game with celebrities and legends. Uh, you being a celebrity. How did this feel, man?

Brandon Malali

You know what? I get to live my dream out here playing flag football. It may be flag, it may not be the NFL, but at least I get to catch passes from guys like Steve Young. And today, Steve Bono was out there. You know, and I got Jesse Palmer's on my quarterback. I, you know, get to do stuff with like Warren Moon and Joe Montana and it's like, it's, it's, you know, it's the NFL Premier League. It's awesome to be a part of this game to be honest with you. Uh, you know, I, I grew up as an actor. At five years old I knew what I wanted to do and uh, I missed out on a lot of sports because of it and I think I'm making it up as an adult now. I scored a touchdown.

Adam Ray

Did you really?

Brandon Malali

Which is huge.

Adam Ray

How did that feel, by the way?

Brandon Malali

It felt good because I scored a touchdown on a professional athlete, or a former professional athlete. He still was a professional athlete. Yeah, he was paid to be an athlete at some point in his career.

Adam Ray

Who was it? Can you say or is there someone who's confident?

Brandon Malali

I'm gonna keep it. I'm gonna keep it, you know, I don't wanna see him out, you know, filming a scene one day and him get the better of me and then go on Young Hollywood and be like, you know, I was in this scene with Donald Faison. Yeah. I've worked with better.

Young Hollywood

Here with uh, Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew. Maurice, you went to UCLA. It's a pretty sweet homecoming, yeah?

Maurice Jones-Drew

Oh yeah, definitely. I mean, just coming back, seeing everybody, smelling the grass, the trees.

Young Hollywood

Grass smells great.

Maurice Jones-Drew

Oh, it does. It's a beautiful campus. I mean, you can't beat it. I don't know why, you know, people wouldn't want to come here.

Young Hollywood

So, uh, the new Madden's coming out in August. You're you're a gamer, yeah?

Maurice Jones-Drew

I came out of the womb with a controller in my hand. I don't know what else you call that.

Young Hollywood

Awesome, is what you call that, I think.

Maurice Jones-Drew

Pretty much.

Young Hollywood

Uh, all right, so, uh, you play yourself in the game though, yeah?

Maurice Jones-Drew

No, I don't. I, I I I call that cheating.

Young Hollywood

Good for you, man.

Maurice Jones-Drew

Cause you know why? If I did play with myself, I would never lose. So, Yeah. Just I just, I'd rather.

Young Hollywood

Dude, that is so, dude, that is so big of you, man. But let me ask you this. Now, are there plays that you might create in your playbook in Madden that are so crazy, like some Maurice Jones-Drew special that you're like, man, this might work in the game.

Maurice Jones-Drew

No, not at all. You know, I I just stick with the basics, man. I don't do any glitches or anything. I just, I just, I don't know if you can curse on the other end. I kick ass with class, though, it's as simple as that.

Young Hollywood

Well, oh, watch your language, bro.

Maurice Jones-Drew

I'm sorry. I apologize. I just try to be, I try to be a gentleman while I beat people's heads in at the same time.

Young Hollywood

Now you won Super Bowls, uh, but you just played in the NFL players premiere league game. Pretty much the same thing. Uh, no, obviously not. Uh, what is it, I mean, you won MVP. This dude, what are you just walking, just going around to every little game and picking up MVP awards? Dude, are you gonna enter the Tricep competition and just try to go get MVP of the.

Maurice Jones-Drew

Of course.

Young Hollywood

All right.

Maurice Jones-Drew

Of course. I mean, when I, when I hit the field, man, I'm not coming out on the field to do nothing else but to win. I'm a winner. That's I just, I gotta win. This is my trophy. Look at that thing. Now I have two trophies. This is my MVP trophy. And it's gonna go right next to my real MVP trophy.

Young Hollywood

I've uh, I've got a uh, still got my little league trophy. It's not as big as cool as that, but it's got like a p-, it's got like, you know,

Maurice Jones-Drew

Don't matter. Don't matter, man. They all, they all mean the same on that level. Cause they're all equivalent, you know what I'm saying? You think about when you were that age playing pop Warner, then that trophy to you meant the same as my Super Bowl trophy meant to me at this age. You feel me? You feel me? J-

Young Hollywood

Hey, I'm just. Jam right, dude, and a lot of people don't know that, dude. That little league Pop Warner trophy, dude, I'm still.

Maurice Jones-Drew

I'm tryna tell ya.

Young Hollywood

Terrell Davis, dude. Are you, are you a gamer though? Do you play Madden?

Terrell Davis

I used to.

Young Hollywood

Used to. Did you play yourself when you played?

Terrell Davis

Oh yeah, absolutely. Man, I was 5,000 yards a season, you know, 6,000 yards a season. I'd have 4-500 yard games. I'd do I'd wear myself out so much, man. You know how your energy bar go. I'd wear myself out because I'm giving me the carries all the time.

Donald Faison

Hey, what's up? I'm Donald Faison and you're watching Young Hollywood. Do they still do this? Like this.
