Darrelle Revis On Being A Jet

Welcome to Young Hollywood. What's up guys? It's Michelle Marie coming to you from the SB Style Studio with Durell Reavis. I have to say congratulations on the success that you've had. You know, you're the number one spot. How do you feel?

Um, I feel alright. I still got more work to do. Still wanna, you know, stay on top and be the top corner. So I just gotta keep on working hard.

Yeah. So, how do you feel about all the new additions coming to the Jets next season?

Um, it's great. Uh, you know we got uh LT, Jason Taylor, uh, Santonio Holmes. We got, we got a lot of guys, uh, you know, especially on offense that can help Mark Sanchez, uh, you know, score a lot of points. And, um, you know, our defense, we're the same defense. We're number one last year. So, we're just trying to stay on top of that and um, you know, just trying to compete and uh make plays on defense.

Right. How was it working with Mark? I mean, it was his first time coming into the NFL and he did such a great job. Helped you guys go to the playoffs. How do you feel about his performance last season?

Um, I think he did well. You know, as a team, uh, we fell into a, like, a six-game losing streak at one point. Um, but nobody pointed the finger uh at him. We knew he was young and he had to learn some things and, um, you know, he came on uh in the postseason and the playoffs and and helped us out tremendously. So, um, it's all, he's, he's doing well. He's recovered well from the knee injury. And, um, you know, we're looking for big things from him this year, too.

Okay. I have to say I really like your spot, your, your nickname as the spot on the field. Is that something Is Revis Island? You have your own island on the field. You know? Yeah. Maybe we can name an island, like, if you can name any island in the world and like name it something, what would you name it?

I'd probably name it the Revis Island.

<noise> I think that's that's a possibility. Yeah, we'll see. Maybe We'll see. We'll see. So, um, I have to say, too, because, you know, with the whole thing with the LeBron and everyone going to the Miami Heat, you kind of, you kind of feel like maybe that's, that's the feeling you guys have with the team now that you have such great players. Um, yeah, yeah. I mean, Like, power team now.

You know, right now, um, you know, we're, we're the paper champs. You know, everybody's is big ex- expectations for us this year. Um, but we gotta prove that. You know, uh, every Sunday out on the field. Um, so it it's a good thing. You know, I I congratulate LeBron on his success and what he's doing. And, um, you know, they do have a powerhouse team as well. So, um, wish she would have came to New York, but, uh.

Who would you say is the best receiver that you've covered?

I've covered some great ones. Yeah. I Chad, I think Chad is is is the best 'cause he's more, he's more elusive. Uh, he's a great route runner. Uh, Randy Moss is is still good. Um, deep threat type of guy. Um, it's a lot, man. It's some young guys, Andre Johnson. I mean, he's uh he's a beast. He's a powerhouse out there, uh, on the field. Uh, it's a lot of guys. It's a lot of younger, uh, DeSean Jackson. I like his game from from the Philadelphia Eagles. So.
