We're here at South by Southwest. How's your time here so far?

It's been good. I mean, we're a little jet lagged. We just came in from Europe, so um first day and a half here. I don't really remember. Um, we did the Rolling Stone show today. We played last night and uh we got some more stuff tomorrow and then we leave Saturday morning. So.

Now, you're getting ready to go on tour with Morrisey and Kings of Leon. How is that going to be?

Uh, it's going to be good. Uh we had uh we had a guy come to one of our shows in the UK and said, you know, um, my uncle's Morrisey. He's a huge fan. And we're like, we didn't believe him at first. And then within a couple weeks, we got asked to jump on some shows.

Whenever you go over, you know, overseas and on tour. Is there any like, you know, crazy things that happened?

We went to some club. I forget the name of it, but it was in London. And um, everyone lost everyone. And by the time we got back to the hotel, I mean, I went straight to my room, so I heard about it the next day. But they found Jordan, our guitar player. pretty much strung out naked with his clothes like separate from himself. And they were like, you know, what what what happened? He just looked at her, "I don't know." myself.

Now, how do you stay in touch with your friends and family whenever you're on the road?

Um, I mean, my phone bill's pretty nuts. So, I mean, I I'm a talker. So, like I, you know, texting and Facebook and Twitter only gets me so far and I'm I'm very in touch with my family and friends back home.

Do you BBM?

In the UK, I have a a Blackberry and uh when we won the Brand New 2011 for MTV, they gave us the the new one, the Torch. I'm just now getting the hang of it. But I like it, you know, it's it's Yeah. You know, it's way more convenient, like. It's awesome.

So, you're cooler in the UK, basically.

In the UK, I'm all about it.

Okay. So, I mean, you travel the world. You have, you know, a new album coming out. Is it safe to say that you love what you do?

I do love what I do. Um, no, there's a lot of people that try and a lot of people that swim for the fences and you fall short. And we're pretty well rounded, you know, we know how to have fun, but we're all mama's boys.

No, I love that you however say that you're a mama's boy, but yet you get kicked out of bars and you feed on a church. And I'm like, come really?

She'd be proud, though. She'd be proud. Like, when I was like a kid in junior high, I snuck out of my house to toilet paper people's houses and I got caught coming back in and she slammed the door and said, where were you? And I told her and she said, next time tell me and I'll drive.
