Oh, look at this place. Fancy. This is ice cream. We figured we'd take you out and get a little ice cream.

Bibi Bourelly

Lit. I can't eat ice cream, though.

Young Hollywood

What? I can't. What? She can't eat ice cream. You gonna eat ice cream. I'll watch you. What do you want to get, darling? We gotta we gotta eat something.

Bibi Bourelly

No, I gotta be skinny, you feel me?

Young Hollywood

So, what do you want to get? What can she get that? He's like, you came to the wrong place, like what are you saying skinny? Can I try the dark chocolate? Oh, now we're getting crazy. Now we're getting crazy. You have to eat the ice cream. Why are you making me eat the ice cream? Oh, you're right. Let me see you. Let me see you. Let me see you. Let me see you. Let me see you. Why you look like you tired? She doesn't want to get any ice cream. Little savage. We're such thugs. We just kicked these, now they see. Let me see you. So your father is a often music. Is that is that how you like started out? Is that how you started playing music and getting into music?

Bibi Bourelly

I was born into music. It's in my genes. But you know how you just pick up on the English language. It's the same relationship.

Young Hollywood

So you're from DC?

Bibi Bourelly

I'm from Berlin.

Young Hollywood

Berlin, you're born in Berlin.

Bibi Bourelly

Born in Berlin.

Young Hollywood

So you're from afar, you're from Berlin.

Bibi Bourelly

I lived in Berlin half of my life, and I lived in Maryland half of my life.

Young Hollywood

And you have tattoos?

Bibi Bourelly

Yeah. It's a stick and poke. You know what a stick and poke is?

Young Hollywood

No.

Bibi Bourelly

Oh, you take a needle and you dip it in ink. You see it. All the dots. Wow. Sarah did this. She she did my artwork for Ego, she did my artwork for Sally. She, I grew up with Sarah. She's one of the sickest artists I know. And she's somebody I care about and I love. And she shared incredible moments in my life with me. My mama passed away. So what's better than your best friend tattooing mama on you? I got this tattoo says higher. It's a song I wrote for Rihanna. Changed my life. And it just means like, aim to be higher. When it became successful or like when it got picked. It was the moment that like everything kind of fell into perspective for me, you know what I mean? When I went and wrote it, I was writing for my idols. It's it's been the moment I've I was working for for 19 years of my life. I dedicated my entire life to. It was the first time that I understood that you got to be yourself in order to be happy and be successful. I wrote it from my heart, you know what I mean? And I was like, if they like it, they like it, if they don't, they don't.

Young Hollywood

Ego, though, that's a that's a hot song.

Bibi Bourelly

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

Hot. Hot, nice lingo. No, it is. I mean, like, we've scoured the world of music on SoundCloud, Spotify. I heard that song. I was like, Def Jam. set this up.

Bibi Bourelly

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

What's Shiner?

Bibi Bourelly

Shiner the beer. Uh, it is a uh

Young Hollywood

He said beer. Did he not say beer? Beer. I heard you say beer. A local Texas beer. It's beer ice cream?

Bibi Bourelly

Yeah. Let me get that. You know the S one saying? Say no, no, say no. I lied, I lied, I lied. That that sounds disgusting. You can just eat and sell it. Let me see a butt.

Young Hollywood

Do you have to ID for that? Aha. Holy. Good one. 21.

Bibi Bourelly

21.

Young Hollywood

Have you written a song about your mom?

Bibi Bourelly

I think all my songs derived from that. When I lost my mom, it put me so in touch with like pain. Like my ice cream dropped and that's petty. You know what I mean? When you learn that at six, you just understand people a lot better. That creates an artist. I think we're all born artists, though. Really, really expressive. It helps you. I mean, I feel like you can express yourself really well, but you people go through things like that. I think that we're all artists. I think that what differentiates human beings from all other species in the world is our ability to create things based off of our imagination. We make things like words. Like words aren't a thing. They're just there. Somebody thought those up. Aha. Local, not local.
