New album approaching normal. Yeah. Yeah, we're very excited about it.

Dirt Room. Great track. Hate me, hate me, hate me. See you can find it. See what's good for you. Sounds like a lot of aggression. Hate me, where does it come from?

Hate me came from a personal spot, you know, everybody goes through that time in their life when you have to choose whether you're gonna be a positive role model or go down that negative path and you have to kind of forgive yourself and forgive and and ask for forgiveness from everybody that you've hurt in the past to do that. And uh so it you know, it was my apology to a lot of people that I had hurt in the past.

He goes, so he's apologized to anyone watching that had an issue. He said he's sorry. Let it go. It's over. Don't go over it. I mean, come on, life's too short, life's too short. Blue October, obviously, you've probably been asked these questions a million times, but Where'd we get the name from?

Yeah. Obviously, you have yeah. October has that seasonal kind of feel to it. It's a season of change and it's kind of like taking all your negativity and putting it into a song for people that get where you're coming from. It was October when we formed the band, the mood would be blue of course. And uh, there you go. It's as simple as that.

Blue October. So could it quite easily been blue November. Is that wrong? Could have been red December. So, you know, That's what's going on.

Yeah, that would have screwed it all up.

Last couple of uh tour stories that you can tell us about. Obviously, a few young viewers, so bear that in mind.

I woke up late in uh San Francisco and the bus was gone. So I had to get all spotted. rough day. We call it all spotting. I've been all spotted too. That's when you walk out of your hotel room and all you see is a little oil spot on the ground where your bus used to be and then you're like, I got to get on a flight. And it will come together, Blue October. I knew him in high school. We went to a high school performing a visual arts. I went for theater. He went for uh, orchestra and he was just an amazing violinist, cellist, mandolinist, violist, everything and then my brother here started playing the drums behind us and next thing you know, we hooked up with Matt and CB. And uh, it was it was amazing. Now we just tour and tour and tour and take care of our families back home. Hey, we're Blue October and we wanted to say what's up to Young Hollywood.
